So here's the thing I recently got a new laptop and downloaded the game. At first it was working fine but after a few more loadups I the audio stopped working. So ofcourse I went through all the online forums on how to fix. Checked the volume setting/mixer. Also tried uninstalling/reinstallling and still no fix.I will say I downloaded the heartharena from overwolf and I though that would be the reeason for the lack of audio but after uninstalling the overwolf app its still didn't solve the audio problem. Ive been playing the expansion this whole time but its getting pretty annoying not hearing any sound. Is there anybody going through this issue currently and is there any advice you could give me on how to fix this. I don't feel like playing a gam without sound.
This sounds like it is most likely a technical issue on your end rather than with the game itself - but there are some things you can try:
- (The obvious) Is the sound turned up in the game options? - Do you get sound in other things such as youtube videos? - Click on the sound icon - have you got the correct speakers et? - Do you have any bluetooth / wifi headphones connected? - Right click the sound icon. Go to the Mixer settings. Check that Hearthstone volume is up (when the game is running)
- If all else fails, uninstall and reinstall the driver in Device Manager

thank you for replying. I have done everything and checked everything you have suggested yet don't know where the problem is. Everything else works including youtube and steam nut just not hearthstone. The PC is less than a month old. The mixer solutuion was the first thing I did when it first started.
Personally I think the problem has to be from when I installed overwolf/heartharena because after I booted up the game there was no sound. But after unistalling those two apps it still didnt fix the sound so I just don't know.
Make a clean install. I mean, when you uninstall hearthstone there are still some files. There are guides through the internet to remove them. When I got some similar problem, the technical service in battle.net guide me through the process, it's quite simple.
Then, after removing every Hearthstone file from the computer, install the game again.
I suggest to contact with the technical service. They could give you more options. I think that overwolf and that kind of apps don't mess with the audio, I bet there's some problem with the drivers or the operative system. This kind of things usually happen with new computers, because there could be some loose configuration.
