Been playing the overload version of Murloc Shaman lately, been pretty fun. What do you guys think about this archetype and what versions do you find fun/strong in the current pool of decks?

I think it looks good. was actually thinking about crafting some cards for it. do you have your version uploaded?
If you play primarily on NA, but also on EU, then maybe you are interested in cross-server trading? Whenever I get the 80g quest on NA I would love to give it away and get it on EU in return. If you'd like a long-lasting trade routine, drop me a message here on hearthpwn!
Yogg-Saron challenge: Whenever you encounter a Yogg Saron player - concede in honor and send a friend request. It takes balls to play a card that usually results in your own death. :D
you played the mech hunter with houndmaster shaw and flark and stuff? I guess that's kind of mid ranged?
what mid range hunter you playing?
EDIT: I just looked at the deck, it's great. I faced one yesterday, it's cool how zuljin can re-summon all the token minions. I might have to craft him.
Depending on your personal meta (what you alone tend to see most) I'd recommend the Overload version if you need a little more sustain and pureloc for when you're facing the slowest decks.

True. I wonder which is a better craft between Nightmare Amalgam and Thunderhead for someone low on dust and wants to play this certain archetype. Perhaps both are needed to switch the deck vs certain match ups? (not low on dust myself, but curious)
Murloc Decks haven't relevant for quite some time (over a year at least)... so I'm not sure how you can be tired of seeing them. Of course you will be seeing them a lot this year because they printed a lot of very good murloc cards.
Lol, They really haven't been strong for a while now. I think it's interesting seeing a murloc deck that is fun and competitively viable at the moment.
I don't know if you should be crafting amalgam. I actually crafted 2 last year and i've not gotten much use from them yet. I was using them in mech palladin at one point though and I guess they can go anything.
if you are playing overload murlocs you definitely want thunderhead over amalgam. thunderhead looks to be really good in this particular deck. normally when a card is surplus they get cut after a couple of days. this deck still looks exactly the same.
Yeah kinda what I was thinking. The version withNightmare Amalgam usually runs Scargil, which I lack. (have the dust, just holding on to most of it for now). Thunderhead seems like a pretty strong card in the deck I am using (basically that list without the the thunderheads)

yeah dude, I don't know if thunderhead makes he deck any better really in the long run. I mean surely there will be times when you play it that it wins you games, but the deck might function well enough without it as well.
Thunderhead can be played in control Shaman, too. Amalgam, on the other hand, can be played in any Dragon deck. So both cards have multiple uses, not just in Murlock deck.
Yeah! I am curious if my substitutes are as strong as Thunderhead.. I doubt it but it is interesting none the less. I have Hench-Clan Hag in there right now, testing it out. I am also debating if I should put Hagatha the Witch in there as well, for late game refill if it comes to that. *thinks*

toast uses hagatha in his version. I don't think it could really hurt if you have it.
I have noticed that mech paladin is moving up tier 2 fast and has overtaken bomb warrior.
now mech paladin is token druids main counter, and you know what is mech paladins biggest count? murloc shaman.
this means if paladin is feeding on token druid then murloc shaman will be able to chase down mech paladin in the counter stage of the meta.
the version with murlocs because murlocs are super broken.
do you actually think they're that good right now dude? I know you had some bother with them the other day.
I do know that mech paladin is moving up the ranks, and that murloc shaman is good against mech paladin so it might at least be one of the best decks in the counter phase. (I think mech paladin is gonna end up in a really good spot soon as theres more token druids than anything else and token druid is not so good against them)
I'm still loving the druid gameplay right now though. thinking about an imp zoo with a similar sort of gameplay style, very mid range.

Hi my dood.

What other versions are there, besides pure murloc and overload?
It pretty fun fun my point of view, and very strong.... It just carried me from rank 17->5 in a few hours
I prefer the version that's mid-range hunter :D

Hi my dood.
I think murlocs as a whole need to be moved to wild because I hate them and I'm tired of seeing them lol

Wild Murloc Shaman is okay-ish to good if it draws well. The full tilt, balls out aggro one, not Everyfin is Awesome lists.
I wonder if removing 1 Murloc Raider for a Storm Chaser to draw a bloodlust is worth it in the pure murloc package.
