not sure about the control version, but regs bomb warrior gets pissed on by mecha bomber hunter. it has an 80+% winrate. 

it utterly destroys slow decks, but has a hard time vs. more aggressive ones.

I have a good deck if anyone wants it. 

Try deathrattle rogue, it can be pretty good against them

 Increase the cost of the hero card to 8 or 9 and remove mech tag from devastator, warrior will remain competitive and strong.

bomb hunter is good against control decks.
