It's actually a underrated card. It does serious damage to aggro decks.
the main problem is that your opponent gets to decide what will trade into the abomination, so they can trade their 1-2 health minions, and their 3-4 health minions survive.
but I agree that he is rather underrated.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
2 reasons to run mark: Synergy with Stalladris and less minions on your deck, increasing the consistency of the portal. Still, I think the deck is not refined yet and Mark is one of the first cards to get axed in a next iteration.
But I truly think that cable rat is good in this deck, more bodies in the field at same time and some variance that could win you the game against control decks if you pick an extra spell that synergizes with the deck. But hogsteed is better against aggro, zoo and murlock shaman.
Hogsteed could certainly take the place of Wrath, which I've found most useful against T2 3/2s where I'm not really excited about playing Dreamway Guardians.
Then if I'm taking that out and not running Mark, there's no reason to run Stalladris either and I'd be better off with something else like Crystalsong Portals.
I really think Stalladris is a high impact card, it won me a lot of games with double power of the wild or helped with card draw with wrath . I don't think it will leave the list so soon.
yeah I was thinking of making a more treant focussed version as I love ents and treants and stuff like that lore-wise.
I see the treant versions tend to run the war druid from the last expac, do you use that as well? I'm not sure whether I should craft it or not. probs not needed though.
I actually don't run them. I don't have them, and, to be perfectly honest, don't really miss them. My deck is doing fine as it is, and I only need 60ish wins until golden druid so I'ma not craft anything for it xD
Sorry for the crappy job with the quotes and whatever, I'm on mobile.

ha ha, no worries man.
yeah dude, after watching someone playing a treant version, and someone else play the standard version with portals. I can see how the base cards are what is really winning games. the other stuff is really just win more or for style points/fun.
That said, I do like my style points/fun, so I think I'm gonna craft the legendaries.
Been wanting to get into a new class for a while now, but just not really been much that interested me that wasn't a gigantic investment.
These Token decks are totally fresh to me and quite exciting TBH. I've not been this excited about a deck Since Pogo Rogue (and TBH that was rather anti climactic in the end... well not entirely, still had some fun with it)
So are you using Mulch Muncher as a finisher or something, please?
Crystalsong Portal is a trap in this deck. I just put the 6 mana scribe with Deathrattle summon four 1/1s and Force of Natures. Cut Mark fo the Loa as well. The Portal often gives you stuff you don't or can't use well. Not rare you get something too expensive or crappy, get the other Portal and it becomes a dead card in hand. So I just put more stuff to generate wide boards because the win con is really Savage Roar, not highrolling random minions.
Stelladris never did anything for me, as it's rare you get to play him with something else. However, people get super scared of the card and go way out of their way to kill it and lose tempo or have awkward turns. I have no problems dropping him on T2 with no Choose One card in hand. Vargoth also still has to do a proper job.
Forest Aid, the 8 mana Twinspell summon 5 treants is really busted, on the other hand.
EVIL Cable Rat, in my opinion, is well worth running. The reasoning lies in the hand. You can play the 2 drop then immediately replace its spot in your hand. This helps Wispering Woods be the best turn 4 play that it can be. The lackey battlecry can be quite handy, and adds another body to your board if you need it. Some prefer Hench-Clan Hogsteed. Effectively, it's better value for 2 mana, but it doesn't help fatten that hand. And, lackeys are rad.
just crafted it and played it. I lost a game when I figured out stalladris card text was a lie. FYI, no you don't get two copies of each of the choose one choices, you get a copy of each of the choose one choices at the cost of the original card, not at 0 cost, as the actual choice cards say.... Stalladris all of a sudden became a shit ton worse than I was expecting it to be....

the card text is accurate. He's stiill pretty damn good
it isn't accurate. it clearly states after you cast a choose one spell, add copies of both choices to your hand. The choices are 0 mana spells, in fact the cards you end up with is the exact spells as the 0 mana, except for the fact that the mana cost has been changed to whatever mana cost the original card says. So no, the card text is not accurate.
he very much might be a pretty dam good, but now he is just value which makes it a completely different type of card from the tempo and value he gave earlier. Value seems to me to fit far less in token druid, though I must admit im a bit surprised at the amount of stuff it can pump out.
While it's not as clear as it could be ("A copy of each" would be better) it is still technically accurate and you're getting "copies" of the choice cards. The reason they aren't 0 mana is because the base card isn't. It wouldn't make sense for the choices to have a mana cost while choosing and it wouldn't make sense to give you those at 0 mana because you would always be getting triple value out of the card for the same cost.
That aside though token druid is nuts. If you draw half good most games don't get past turn 8. If you get the nut T1->2->3 the game is usually over by turn 5. While it pains me to play an aggro style deck, token druid is the only one I like because you don't just all in, you can play for the late game and that adds an element of strategy lacking in secret Paladin and Face Hunter type decks.
Used my own version to go from 15-5 with only 3 losses (1x tempo rogue, 1x control shaman, 1x spell hunter). Not running Crystalsong Portal or Wrath. Two Force of Nature, two Dendrologist. Chance of discovering a useful spell is close to 100%.
Faced almost entirely warriors and rogues and it obliterates them.
Token Druid now is the best deck in the game and I love it. I crafted it right away when the expansion started because I loved Token Druid in the past and I was so hopeful that it would succeed and I was right. One of my best decisions in Hearthstone :D
I know that the meta is still unstable but Token Druid doesn't stop to grow, I hate the fact that it would become a mainstream deck right now like Bomb Warrior but it is just so fun to play (for me at least).
So folks, start crafting Keeper Stalladris ( It is a 100% safe craft, I guarantee.)
reckon I'm gonna craft this. there is a second version that doesn't use portals though and had dendrologist, ecentric scribe, war druid, force of nature and stuff like that.
according to the stats it is doing better than the base version most people are playing right now.
just not sure whether to craft portals or craft force of nature for the other version instead.
what would you recommend as a token druid fan, please
Portal is better imo. It's cheap refill and has synergy with wisps. force of nature felt kind of meh to me when I was playing it.
Cabal rat feels good to me. Most of the lackeys are useful. I think having the 1 mana dude in your hand that has battlecry impact is better than a 1/1 on the board for wisp synergy and for when you want to make a soul of the forest play hit as many things as possible.
Mark of the loa is kind of bad and on average probably worse than Hag but the synergy with Vargoth or Stallandris make for game swinging plays. The flexibility of the 2/4 bonus is also good at times for controlling the trades. The 1/1s from Hag surviving Dynomatic is interesting though.
I switched out a landscaping for the glorious gloop spell and the swing turns you can get with it is just ridiculous. On the flip side it can be a dead card some games. At worst it’s an upgraded innervate.

was this supposed to be a pun?

Ahahahaha yeah, but no one noticed so far.
Seriously, fuck token Druid. There’s not much that can be done even if they roll half nuts.
I noticed. LoL.

New expansion... same old broken Druid decks. Blizzard suck.
Weird...
I have 100% winrate (5 games) vs token druid and 0% winrate vs any warrior (7 games) with my tempo mage.

Portal is easily the worst card (statistics wise) in the most played token Druid. Cable rat is doing good for me.
