Fight fire with fire. I suggest a Dragon Warrior deck with the Archivist chick, and make sure you put in a brewmaster or baleful banker because now other Warriors are running that card as well.
That is what I've been doing since the start of the expansion. It's a very hard pilot, even slight miscalculations in when you should use a card can be very punishing, but I have done well. The two main issues are the games are very long, and tend to be rather close against well built decks. Still working out kinks, but only 3 losses up to rank 4 standard.
Im already hating the meta... you just CANT defeat warrior, not with any kind of priest deck at least and i dont know with what... if they get 5 bombs on turn 6 and then play Dr. boom or the hero you are done

dude, you just said that one class is bad against the best class. just play another class.

I main priest.... it cannot be that the class is doomed this expansion, it makes me sad... and anyway you cant defeat warrior if they get the hero and the bombs.. is just insane value, insane removals, also discovering MOOOORE mech with removal effects.. is just non sense.
Control Shaman is a very good counter to the slower Warrior lists, unless they face a randomly generated Beryllium Nullifier. Once the Warrior gets to magnetize one of his mechs with that it's game over unless you run Zentimo and have a Hexleft or Ironbeak Owl/Spellbreaker (which there is no reason for). Other than that, the Warrior decks aren't unbeatable at all.

I haven't found that to be the case, but I've only been playing for a few hours (and I may be playing wrong!). Playing against mostly Token Druid and Control Warrior (that's probably 90% of the matchups at ranks 1-5) and I dropped from Rank 2 to 4. You can grind through all of their stuff pretty easy, sure. Then you're both at the end of the game - neither of you have a deck.
But he can gain 60 armor. And you can't. And he can add 6 mechs to his hand to gain gas at the end of the game. Random shaman spells off Hagatha are way worse than that on average. I think that matchup boils down to "is Dr Boom Mad Genius better than Hagatha" and the answer is yes lol. Both decks are running Archivist so eh. Unfortunately, playing any deck but control warrior right now feels like a 15 minute waste of time haha. So it's back to the grind.

I recognize that warrior is very strong right now. but if you only limit yourself to one class, then when that class becomes bad, you only brought it upon yourself.

How can he outvalue you when you're using Archivist Elysiana and (hopefully) Shudderwock? Sure, it's always a question of who draws better but in the end he can't even fatigue you to death. That's why Warriors shouldn't just depend on exhaustion + bombs as their main win condition. For example, their matchup vs. Mech Hunter is awful according to my experience.
Build a board. Brawl. Build a board, Warpath. Build a board Brawl, Warpath again. Big minion? Shield slam, shield slam, execute, execute, omega defender, omega defender... Oh and all my Mechs have rush and I can generate infinite mechs when I hit turn 7. So if SOMEHOW all those weren't enough to prevent you from playing the game, I'll build a huge Ziliax, regain whatever pittance of life you took, and stomp your board until you die on turn 387 because I have no actual wincon other than "don't let your opponent win"
I've played this deck from Rank 5 to Rank 1. It's disgusting lmao. I don't see it settling out with the meta in the coming weeks but I'm open to being wrong. Aggro doesn't stand a chance because you have too many board wipes and gain obscene amounts of armor. Value decks have the best chance but can't really because of the same reason. There aren't really any combo decks right now and even so there are TWO answers to it right now! Hecklebot mainly.
Thoughts?
Play token druid against this deck. Not enough turns to draw all that aoe. I usually kill them by turn 6 or 7 with that deck. Also have good winrate with an elemental overload Control shaman I put together. Between omega mind/scheme combo and witchs brew my healing is better than their armor. And they are forced to use removal on stupid stuff because the deck is the same as theirs, (survive, survive some more) then play elysiana, then shudder. 50 card deck. Gg
Play the new big deathrattle pally - I have mained control warrior forever and this deck destroys me. I'm now playing it and I'm 7-1 vs control warrior.

What is this 'main' I've seen people refer to? How do you 'main' a class in this game? Do you mean you play so casually that you have to dust all cards except for one class and pretty much only play that?
This isn't an rpg or a game where you level multiple different characters but focus on one due to time constraints and having to grind gear/currency for one character more than others.
I think it sounds like such a ridiculous, self imposed handicap that if you choose to go with, you only have yourself to blame because the game doesn't appear designed for it at all.
Don't be ridiculous Padge, of course you can main a class. Just like you can "main" a character in any fighting game, any moba game, any RTS game and the list goes on. I play all classes but my favorite has always been Priest, I "main" the class, that not a complex or foreign concept.
On topic Mexiito isn't wrong, Priest is sad this expansion and the chief cornerstone reason would be Warrior (specifically Dr Boom). It's a virtually unwinnable matchup. Priest has been bad for most of the time HS has existed (which is fine actually) but the appeal in playing Priest has always been that you grind your opponent down and potentially ware them out in resources if given enough time. The problem is, Priest is not fun to play right now because at current Warrior never runs out of resources, never runs out of removal and frankly makes all other ctrl decks seem pointless by comparison. That's a valid point.

Seems like the Chef build for Priest would work quite well. It stomps the crap out of my dragon control Warrior. Like I have almost zero chance.
I just spectated a game from my m8 who played control warlock against control warrior. He literally, not joking managed to hit him 0 times to the face, because from the scratch everything got instantly removed. There were even very bad plays on single board 5 mana minions with Shield Slam, even when he was at 30hp & 15 armor...the only time he took dmg was when he attacked stuff with supercollider.
My m8 conceded in fatigue when the warrior played Elysiana with Baleful Banker while having 30hp and 37armor lol...
I think giving all mechs rush is too obnoxious, that's going to remove anything. Just seems annoying and wrong, I believe Booms battlecry should do something different.
Warrior removal is actually a little worse now we have lost Blood Razor which really did help stabilize against opponents without having to waste board clears. They did get Omega Devastator for single targets in the late game, but big minions that late haven't really been a problem for Warrior. Also without Blood Razor it is much more difficult to get use of Execute
is this a joke? your minions have rush. This is silliest thing i will read today. lol
Please try to remember people are really playing control warrior to hard counter rogue. If rogue wasn't so OP you wouldn't see nearly as much CW as they are pretty easy to counter. Mech hunter, mech paladin summoner mage etc. Right now you cannot build a deck that counters both control warrior and tempo rogue. Tempo rogue has a positive win rate against everything except control warrior.

Play Kaghdar mage and he have not enough removals anymore. It is a warrior counter for a reason.
Be ready to lose vs every aggro decks tho, since this deck only exists to beat warriors, no matter if loses the next 10 games.
You forgot that they discover about 5 extra Omega Defender's with Omega Assembly and their hero power.
