Does anyone feels that hearthstone had lost its innovative or creative ideas like Arena tarven brawl and adventure mode. Its seems to me that blizzard would not waste time on designing new content without involving with expansion new mode guild mode pve or whatever. Base on blizzard actions, adventure mode use to be free after they announce 4 expansion per year and this expansion u have to pay extra for adventure. This just explained their buisness model content Must be profitable tarven brawl is a mistake . Its fair for every company to pursue profit base model but at least come out with innovative creative idea once a year and not just focusing on their main revenue which is new expansion after new expansion.

Except there is literally a new adventure coming out in a month that will incorporate new mechanics and playstyle based on the feedback that they got regarding the pve content
This topic on hearthpwn will definitely not have any impact whatsoever. Nobody forces you to pay anything to play this game and moreover nobody forces you to play this game when you are not satisfied.
As you said, they dont make games for us just becuase they are good people and want us to have fun with their game. Ofy they have to make money with it.
When it comes to innovation, i dont want to say thay couldnt maybe do better, but every game reaches his best time at some point and from then on its hard to deliver even better ideas.
Also if a product is very good, the community has very high expactations about following releases. When you have a very high expactation, it is easier to get disappointed.
Say what? Tavern Brawl, Arena (hugely overhauled this time around) and PvE are still there. Adventures cost money back in the day, now single player does again, but you could just save some gold for it and don't have to pay real money.
They started giving out free legendaries and no more duplicates. More free packs at launch of the expansion than they used to. More special events with dust, pack or gold rewards (there weren't any of those in the first few years of HS).
If your problem is that you don't get everything for free, that's your problem. Many people are happy with what they get, even without spending. And almost all pre-order boni (except for the legendary cards, also a rather new addition to the pre-order package) are cosmetic.
- Arena got a makeover AGAIN (after the successfull bucket system and multiple special arena events 2018) with further expansion cycles announced for the future.
- Single player content costs 1300 gold when you substract the packvalue, it‘s not the end of the world (allthoug i get your point here!). I think it‘s fine to pay a little for repeatable content, unlike boomlabs.
- Brawls have been very good lately imo. The brawliseum in the first week of the expansion is actually a user request because it‘s the most interesting in an unresolved meta.
- No new playmodes: I guess this is a topic on it‘s own. Just bear in mind that this is more complexe than pure lasyness.
they are a company...so yes, that's probably what they should be doing in a competitive environment.
They tried the whole generosity thing with Heroes of the Storm...and then they had to stop spporting it because it just wasn't making any money.
I'd rather have them be greedy and produce quality content than lazy and just let the game go to shit.
Think about it: As long as Hearthstone makes money, they'll improve it...once it doesn't, they'll stop and we won't get any new content, so realistically, what's better?
Blizzard are a publicly traded company and, like all businesses, care about profit and are in business to make money. They have a fiduciaryresponsibility to produce returns for their shareholders. They make a lot of money because they make great games that people are willing to pay for.
It costs money to make new content. Why should they give it away for free? If you don't want to pay for the new solo adventures or the new cards then don't. You are free to spend your moeny on whatever you like but your criticism of Blizzard losing their creativity makes no sense whatsoever.
This is a great meta that has brought back control and pushed toxic combo/otk away from tier 1, which was bad for the game. Even aggro decks have real teeth and nothing like Deathstalker Rexxar to wildly change the entire power level of their decks when outmatched. No more obvious infinite combos (thought I've seen a few that will definitely crop up in control matches... ugh). Plenty of fun takes on existing mechanics alongside new ones.
The PvE we have incoming is based on everything players have asked for (according to Blizzard, so we'll see how accurate that is), and for once makes us the bad guys!
Arena has a completely new pool of cards to draw from that doesn't follow standard format and even pulls from old adventure sets like Naxxramus.
Blizzard is giving away 12 free packs with this expansion, has upped the overall value of the daily quests (since they require less time to earn now), and has become far more generous with their events, which they're doing more of.
Is the model designed to encourage players to spend money? Yep, that's what products like this are supposed to do. It's how we get to play the game. Is it impossible to play this game without spending a dime? Absolutely not. It takes time and skill (and RNG, praise be to Yogg), as well as maximizing your collection and focusing on what will generate wins and contains the most value per class. As your collection grows, so will your options.
Blizzard isn't crying over players that never spend money, complain that they feel like they have to spend money, and leave. They never lost a cent on you.
Creativity is alive and well in this game, you're just conflating that with the cost of collecting.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.
Blizzard is a business so yes they care about profits.

Missing lethal since June 2015.
