From are pure card draw perspective you are absolutely right, Acolyte of Pain is the better card. But Loot Hoarder is better against aggro matchups, which is probably the worst matchups for bomb warri. It cost only 2 mana and can directly trade into a Flame Imp, Murloc Tidecaller or other early game minions.
So I depends on your game focus. If only card draw is the goal you are right but Loot Hoarder is better in other (early game) situations. It's not that of a brain dead decision.
I don't even have Acolyte of Pain in the deck at the moment because my build is so aggressive (while people are figuring out the new set, faster, more aggressive builds can take advantage of sub-optimal choices). I feel like once the meta settles and with some refinement Acolyte will find its place in the standard list. Loot Hoarder, however, is beyond a meme in this deck. Seriously what the hell?
Why are you doing this ? Because Kripp does it ? You should know he is addicted to loot hoarder this man would play loot hoarder in big priest if he had the opportunity. I'm sorry but this is just ridiculous this card makes no sense in that deck, play a mech or removal or ACOLYTE OF PAIN instead lol. Netdecking is just fine... But come on.. Not even trying to understand the deck and cards ? Warpath + Dynomatic = obvious acolyte of pain.
Well anyway, thank you for this, at least we don't have to play against refined bomb warrior, that would be annoying as hell 1 day into the expension.
Sorry I guess I'm a bit upset, it's kind of annoying being forced to heavily tech all decks against bombs so early in the expansion.
What deck are you playing currently? If you're aggro, you don't care about bombs. If you're control, you run healing to not die from bombs. You shouldn't need to tech anything because both of those archetypes already do things to mitigate bombs (either by ignoring them, or diminishing their damage)
I agree on the point that if a loot hoarder is played now in a bomb warrior, its just plain obvious netdecked. I dont have a problem with this, but on the other hand, its Kripps playstyle. It should be better if players would go over decks a bit and check them. If only to adapt them a little bit to their playstyle, because 2-4 cards can change a deck noticable. This is quite important, as I believe some players are better with specific playstyles. Using someones successful deck, that he made for himself, doesnt mean its as successful with another players playstyle.
You know, I saw someone driving a red card today and I was thinking to myself, why would they do that?! Because someone told them it's a good color?! Why don't they get a better color of vehicle like blue, or at least a dark red? They just make for a better color of car.
I'd say you're definitely correct, but it's not exactly a relevant card when talking about building out a Bomb Warrior deck. And unfortunately in the mirror match up for Rogue it often becomes a River Crocolisk unless I get Hench-Clan Burglar in play first.
Maybe people like a 2 drop rather than a 3 drop when that spot is already taken up by clockwork goblin & elekk etc. Why play another 3 drop when acolyte will more often than not only get you 1 card anyway.
well if u think its bad enjoy beating them when they use bad version lol
why u so salty
Boom! Roasted. (Probably shouldn't have used Boom!)
Do you know what they say about people with small hands? Big Bears.

just because its true does not mean that the message has to be repeated in every, single, thread.
nothing comes out of your post, it just annoys people.
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
To be fair, nobody has had to think about 2 drops since 2017. Who even remembers what to play?
You rang? Underbelly Fence

Loot hoarder is better vs aggro than acolyte and bomb warrior’s biggest fault is aggro....soooooo....what’s the issue here?
They play it because the deck on hsreplay with the highest winrate has it in its list. All dumb netdeckers.

Omg stop using a card guys because someone else uses it.
I am amused that card is still being played in that deck.
Why play loot hoarder when you can play a 0 mana 1/1 wisp
this is what happens when you think kripp is a god of hs or something
