Big Shaman is so much fun guys. Ancestral Spirit and Big Bad Voodoo on your thicc boys are great anti control stuff (other than rude priests who steal them) and you have so much anti aggro they have to high roll you to not get rolled over.
Hagatha's Scheme is way better than I expected. You get this bad boy in the mulligan and it's dragon's fury-esque on curve but instead of getting worse as the game goes on it gets better.
Muckmorpher is sick. All your big guys impact the board directly with rush/charge/summoning minions/generating spells so it's always good to drop.
Big Bad Archmage is insane in this deck to pull from Eureka! or Muckmorpher. I thought he would be the worst archmage by far but it's kind of the MVP of the deck. It's like bootleg Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound. There are some low roll six drops but there are some good highrolls too.
I put a single Witch's Brew mainly because it rekts bomb warrior but it's also pretty flexible to be able to full heal yourself after you've won the board to get out of burst range or just heal for 8 against aggro instead of floating four mana on a turn you don't have a good play, or just healing up your big guys and spending the rest on your face.
Got Rain of Toads in here like a bootleg spreading plague.
I've been playing control Shaman exclusively since the expansion came out. Swampqueen Hagatha is a lot of fun, but seems really bad right now. I may have underestimated Archivist Elysiana, seems essential for control decks right now, but that could change if bomb warrior gets pushed out of the meta.
Omega Mind seems like it will see play now that Healing Rain rotated, it's pretty damn good with the scheme.
The rushing boombots are already diluting a lot of the fun for me. Its difficult to have fun and experiment when you are confronted with a class that has the best removal and synergies right now along with a fairly consistent win condition. Its nice to see warrior move away from stall and tank up, but it's not pleasant to play against. Moaning on day 1 btw lol etc.
Spent about an hour trying to get resto druid to work. I don't think it is possible. The synergies are too weak, too hard to activate, too contradictory (heal early for stag, save it for Lucentbark), and too easy to counter. Disappointed but not surprised.
Mechrattle hunter may be the real deal. I was wrong on a few things.
I was oddly succesful with it as well. Oblivitron seems to suck, but Nine Lives carries a lot. It's strength is that it goes from 0 to 100 out of nowhere and it is hard to anticipate when that will happen.
Anyway, I started with the aggro decks. Secret paladin was meh, mech token druid was meh.
Then I played bomb warrior in a control en tempo variety. Control wasn't too great, tempo was good.
Continued with pirate burgle rogue. It felt really powerful but I got unlucky a lot.
Then I played silence priest, which was INSANE until I encountered a pure control warrior.
Closed with handlock, which I played for quite a bit. Had to tinker a lot because nobody else seemed to be playing it. This is the list I ended up with:
Token druid seems really good. Not the one with the treants as core, that version is to greedy imo. If you manage your resources you can beat warrior, unless is the hard taunt version.
Played different types of warrior on rank 5-4. Bombs are really strong. Control shell feels better than rush/tempo. Rush war runs out of gas very quickly, especially against burger rogues, also it lacks aoe against token decks.
Burger rogue is strong only if it find Cutlass and you don't find ooze.
Token druid is crazy strong, I afraid if it become popular.
played: token druid, mech hunter(w/zuljin), secret paladin(no legendary, I run azalina as refill), silence priest got from rank 10 to 5 so all decks are pretty good, sadly I opened very few packs.. I expected to open 12 more on launch.. meh will take a while to get all commons it seems got very lucky on pack opennings though 4 legendaries in 30 packs
I don't know if I'm getting lucky or playing at too low a rank (13), but it seems Mech Hunter counters Bomb Warrior really well.
Went 3 for 3 against them on the ladder today and every time they got some big value cards and I thought I was gonna lose for a bit. Pretty fun matchup either way with deck bombs and boom bots one side and goblin bombs and spider bombs on the other.
I’ve beaten every single Bomb Warrior deck I’ve come across with my Big Paladin deck. I love it! It’s fast and furious! Plus I can tutor Barnes and High Priest Thekkal now!
Had so much fun with Lucentbark resto druid. Not sure if it will be a thing in the meta but i was great. Secret paladin is not working as it is but May be better if it switch to more midrange type. Also tried arena. Naxx cards was fun. Shade od naxxramas on turn, ending up 8/8 :D

Climbed to rank 3 with it so far.
Do you have a decklist? Want to compare it to my version. I know I'm missing something, can't work out what though. At the moment my WR is around 40%..
I reached legend with secret paladin after winning 13 games in a raw. I thought the deck would suck without divine fever, but it turns out you don't need card draw if your deck curves up very well. plus Eccentric Scribe is insanely powerful he is almost as good as Savannah Highmane
Do you have a list for this deck ? I've got a golden Biga Bad Archmage and I was thinking to disenchant it and now you say is so good :) so maybe you've just saved the big guy :)

Give it a few days. I think the answer is yes but if you’re tight in dust you should wait. I’ll post my list tomorrow when I’m off my phone.
Ending the first day with eight decks being played.
In the end, the game feels so refreshing again even though many archetypes are just old ones being revisited. Good riddance, Year of the Mammoth!

I open a Lucentbark and three Crystal Stag. I found this to be the case as well.

If Pogo Hopper Rogue becomes a Tier 2+ deck I might just quit HS for good this time. I do NOT look forward to another Jade Druid meta.
Was playing lackey rogue, played fox, received messenger.
The next turn played shark + messenger, chose luna + kalecgos
Feelsgoodman

I haven't seen a single opponent be anything but bomb warrior since reaching rank 3. Love the diversity
