It seems to me that Blizzard cant win. If the release is to long, people complain, if the release is fast, people complain. But I agree letting streamers play cards we cant is a bad move on Blizzards part.
i think the sentence you're looking for is "people complain"
IMHO the Hearthstone community for the most part excels at it.
But... I would love, just once, for a set to be released with NO reveal. I know they'll never do this, because they think the reveal boosts preorders (maybe it does, I'm not convinced). I just love the idea of opening packs and seeing cards for the first time, not having weeks for people to scheme new decks, but having just complete chaos as people go blind into day 1.

This was kiiiinda done with LoE. From the announcement of the expansion to when we got to start playing with some of the cards (due to it being an adventure) was 6 days and for most people who don't follow sites like Hearthpwn or hearthstone related sites, they did not know there was a new expansion until it just popped up. This ended up happening to me and I enjoyed it a lot and it feels like they are trying to do the same with Zayle, Shadow Cloak,
As for having a full expansion just suddenly release with little to no reveals, it would only hint at the thing being rushed and thrown together and could, like you said, affect preorders. It's an interesting idea but it's not a risk I think Blizzard is going to do. Granted if you wanted to, you can always just not read any hearthstone news so you can go in blind, but this is a lot of effort and I can understand why one would not want to do this.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
"they showcased the new cards by letting a few select streamers play them. THIS IS SOMEHOW A PERSONAL ATTACK AGAINST ME AND I GET EXTREMELY UPSET WHEN I'M NOT THE CENTER OF ATTENTION"
+ this is actually the shortest time between reveal to release ever. Wasn't even a full week. I remember when we had 2 weeks between the final reveal and the expansion release
+ YOU a simple player, not streamer, could play with the new cards at a Fireside Gathering.... so nothing unfair here
I disagree with this argument. There are people who live far away from anything that has been arranged and simply don't know any players irl. Yes, you could make your own and open packs still, but not play with the cards.
p.s. I do know how the world works, I'm not delusional but I do believe that all customers should be treated as equal, all streamers should also be treated equally. Meanwhile we saw that only a few close puppet streamers like kripparian were in the sacred list.
Get over yourself, dude. The streamer shit was free advertising. Giving you early access accomplishes nothing because you are nobody.
Honestly, this long period of a time awaiting been devastating for me, I'm not feeling hyped at all after all of this, just felling angry and not myself.
Additionally streamers who got to play, kripp etc. was disgustingly unfair move by Blizzard. Revealing things is one thing, let someone play/explore content nobody else could for marketing purposes is whole another thing.
p.s. I got my 50 pre-order packs, and right now it feels like big mistake, also overpriced as hell.
Why not just ignore the streamers and play around with the cards you unpack? I have zero clue what decks these streamers have tested and I could care less. Tonight I am going in blind and going to have a lot of fun with what I have busted open =)

If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
The OP is crazy.

tl;dr but has anyone here mentioned the fireside gathering pre-release event thingy? You can try out some of the new cards there.
Petition for Jaina's boobs to return please. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
