I need your suggestions. I have 7k gold and gonna get about 4k dust back after rotation, and I've bought both the preorders, so I have 130 packs waiting for me to open.
Keeping the above info in mind, how much of my gold would you suggest I dump in the expansion. Dump all 7k gold? Open 200+ packs by the end of it? OR half of it OR none of it? Any particular reasoning?
Oh and don't worry about the single player content. I have 2k Amazon coins left, so will be using those (and some) to get the single player content (with the 15 packs, etc).
Looking forward to some good suggestions and reasonings.
Spend it all, the cards will have the most longevity and the power level is decent enough the card will stay relevant, unlike 80 percent Ungoro which is completely unplayed (not even gonna touch Witchwood).

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I usually craft any legendaries I really want at the start, then spend all my gold (10k as of now) on packs, then keep buying packs daily (with gold) until I my legendary timer resets...sometimes I buy even after that If I miss a couple rares and/or have a few goldens that I don't have regular copies of, so I can safely DE them.
After that I start saving for the next expansion, which usually ends up at above 10k (depending on events) and so the cycle continues while my dustbin steadily grows
I got both pre-orders and will probably hit close to 9k gold. I'm planning on not using any gold until after I open the 130. I'll look at my collection and see what I'm missing of what I wanted. Another thing I'll keep in mind is how close to the pity timer I am. I probably won't buy any additional packs until after the solo content.
TL:DR - after you open your 130 packs, look at what you got and decide if buying more is worth it, or if you are happy with the collection you got.
One of the main reasons for getting the second preorder (50 pack one) was the guaranteed legendary. That way, I get more value out of it all.
It's a very nice suggestion of opening the 130 first and see where it gets me.
Also, I have a few good legendaries missing from previous sets, like Akali, Talanji, and Mojomaster Zihi. Really interested in crafting Mojomaster at least. Hence, of course, I need the dust for it :)
In your position I will spend all the 7k. 200+ packs is where you get basically all the commons, rares, a nice collection of epics and legendaries and enough dust (if you dust everything) to get some of the stuff you want to play that you didn't open from packs.
After that, I will go in full save-mode and just do all the dailies, all the promotions for the next 4 months and save about the same amount for the next expansion (even more if you are good in arena/get good quests/promotions) and then repeat the same process.

Why do you craft the cards you really want before opening packs? You might be lucky and get those cards in the packs, and craft them only if you don't get them. Is it because you craft the golden version?

Any reason for 130 packs? I've read about that exact amount in several places and I'm curious about it.

Yes, that is the number of packs of both preorders combined (80+50)

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

I know i will follow the pity timer.
I have almost 10k gold, but i will check how much is left after the first 3-4 legendaries i drop.
Ie if i drop a legendary around the 70th pack (possibly earlier if i am lucky enough), i will probably stop and start saving already.
Open 130 packs. See how lucky you got. Buy 10 more if you want more. Are you happy with your collection? No. Open 10 more. Rinse and repeat.
Let your greed decide.
Remember you already have 3 guaranteed (including the one they just released) legendaries if you have both bundles.
Very good suggestions guys. Thanx a lot.

Or find better things to spend your money on.
All of it. What else is it for? You can't take it with you.
