If you are worried about big Priest you can always tech in a Flight Master or Mad Summoner to mess up the res pool.

This card will see 0 play in Res Priest. It's just not better then Rag or Shaarj or Statue.
But it does function as a second Barnes in a way... played against it and you really need to kill those vargoths before they have like 6 of them and cast a mind blast...
I was playing a standard resurrect priest and Archmage Vargoth is just horrifyingly OP in that archtype. Reviving him with Diamond Spellstone creates boards that are impossible to deal with.
Case in point, this is about 10 seconds before I incinerated a quest mage with a 160 damage Mind Blast top deck, which would have been replayed twice if that failed to kill him:
I just got annihilated by two mind blasts that then repeated at the end of the turn. Nice.
Don't worry, blizz will keeping nerfing the classic set instead of the cards that are actually broken!
My concern is, if they nerf Barnes, which i think is likely soon, and then Vargoth just replaces him.
Granted, it's not the same, but still a Vargoth on 4 is basically a taunt in Big Priest. If you leave it there, he's extremely dangerous on next turn.
Hopefully they also nerf Shadow Essence and get done with this insanity.
After playing around with a Vargoth quest mage at rank 10 in wild, I can confirm it’s flooded with big priest + Vargoth. And it’s nuts. Getting a double res is insane and it’s not just double res, but shadow essence too. This card is just bonkers in the deck.

Relax guys, this deck will only see play in standard for 4 days until rotation, then it won't see any play in wild, where decks are much faster and aggressives. It's good in THIS actual meta, that's all. Stop to scream to nerf every second, you don't like priests, we got it.

Great! Free wins for me against those scrubs then. A 2/6 without taunt is a lot easier for me to deal with than 4/8s and 8/8s with taunt.

You do know that the more minions big priest plays, the less likely it is for them to summon statue and Lich king, right?
Vargoth is best in the maly/velen combo. This deck will be mainstream in a week and break wild not long after. Its 10x stronger then normal big priest. One spellstone = 7 revived minions. Go ahead and keep playing your normal big priest if you think it's better though...

It's a GREAT minion to resurrect. Play any resurrection spell. If that's the only spell you play that turn you play another copy for free.
