I've just finished playing a game and something happened which is new to me.
I was playing as Druid, with Flobbidinous Floop and Yogg Saron. I played my Yogg Saron, hoping to play it again next turn using my flobbidinous floop.
Instead, on my next turn, my flobbidionous floop became a Hex Lord Malacrass - a card I definitely didn't just play! During the next turn my opponent began casting strange cards too such as Shadow Visions and mage based elementals.
I'm assuming it's not a bug, and Yogg must have cast some spell - but what? He literally didn't survive as he cast the Shaman spell on himself which transformed him into a random legendary minion.
Yogg's battlecry transformed it in to hex lord most likely.
Floop is weird like that. For example, if you faceless manipulator a Lich King, then Floop would play as the Lich King, not faceless manipulator.
This is because the battlecry transforms a minion before it's resolved onto the board, so Floop reads the last minion you played as Hex Lord.
I never knew this! So this is a big of a bug that could be taken advantage of then? Faceless a 10 cost minion and get another copy immediately for 4 mana? Wow!
Are there any decks you know of built around this? :)
When they nerfed yogg they did something weird with the battlecry code. Instead of (If played >THEN> initiate battlecry) It must be simultaneous so as to end the battlecry if Yogg is transformed. Floop could possibly then read it as Malacrass (a 5/5) was "played" instead of the initial Yogg.
That's my guess on the spaghetti monster coding at least.

I'm not sure if it's a bug, it's just how the game is coded. I'm sure they've noticed by now since it's a known interaction that was fairly common in Malygos druid when it used to run faceless.
Not sure there is a deck built around it because it's really only useful when your opponent plays something with crazy value. There aren't a lot of minions that transform upon playing them that are for druid/neutral. Other than Faceless, there is War Druid Loti. If you Floop that you can get a 3/4 of whichever form you chose, lol.

Hey folks,

I'm perplexed? So I quickly took a screenshot.
Thanks in advance.
Did Storm Bringer turn him into Malacrass?
Nope. Yogg was turned into a 5/5 as far as I remember. Not exactly sure which.
It would explain it though I guess. Thanks.
Seems weird though that Floop turns into a copy of a card I didn't 'last play'? I wonder if that's intentional or a bug?
