Giving a select few streamers early access to the latest expansion is leaving a bit of a bitter taste in my mouth. I feel like they're taking that initial experimentation we all get on release day (finding out cards we hyped are actually trash and vice versa) and giving it to a select few.
I understand this won't be the new meta entirely, but it's on the path towards it - It's the pros and the streamers that tend to build the foundations of the decks we'll all be using in a month or so.
I know I don't have to watch it, and I can't say it's not enjoyable seeing the new cards in play, it just feels like the hearthstone community is being deprived of that day 1 unpredictably and experimentation.
All we can do is ignore it exists, so when the masses of automatons use their freshly stolen decklists people using their brain can start to actually learn about the new meta...people will be lazy and ignorant, we just have to show them there's a better way.
Yeah, this pre-release event just kills the hype for me so I don't watch it. It also kinda sucks that the meta will already be developed before we even get to play with the new cards. I usually enjoy that first day of people trying out new things before it's back to netdecking.
Because Hearthstone is losing shares. People are not streaming anymore because the game is becoming bored. So for some dark reason Blizzard though that was better to give early access to streamers instead of design a cool expansion.
there is arguments on both side (u can see the cards u theorycraft about in action without actualy having those cards maybe after seeing those cards u dont like them)

That's gonna change anything. Most people never change, especially sheeps.
100% agree. i m not watching any streams of pre releases. it's borring and it's ruining 1st day opening new cards and play absolutly new decks vs guys who doesn't know how play around them.
I think, pre-release is good for some small parties, like 10-20 clubs in the world and no streams. But, it's just my opinion, maybe someone likes watching it and doesn't care about 1st day.
I feel the exact same way - it just made me sad - the best time of any expansion is the first couple of days where people will experiment and you can try out your own designs before everyone get the best meta decks of the internet.
This pisses me off so much... I'm on the verge of stopping playing this stupid game forever (thanks to Blizzard's retardation) and finally leaving this forum, I swear!!!
Their main purpose is to hype more players who didnt preorder RoS yet. No one of those streamers will find best deck anyway because they will not play vs horde of aggro and other players on real ladder so they can not refine perfect lists. It is just smart advertising for Twitch audience.
So hear me out...

Could be just me though!
I actually got a similar feeling as well.
nah it's not just you who feels like this, me and i'm sure many others do too.
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
I thought the same thing actually, when RR released, it kind of takes a bit of the magic out of the first days of the expansion.
… which streamers show the new cards?

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.

Obviously, it's not just you... Silly Blizzard and f..king streamers!!! >:-(

I feel the same. I don't know how would such a thing "hype" us up.
Yeah it's dumb and they should stop.
Money drives ALL.
A thinking type. My compliments. But soon a fanboy of sorts will challenge. Blizzards mindless force.
We make our world significant through the courage of our questions and the depth of our answers.

i am with u on this but i dont mind it either

Wow
I didn't know there were pre-release streams!!
To hell with it!! Sometimes being ignorant is a blessing
I'll just wait for the cards to be revealed when I open the packs and experiment myself... that's the true fun about this game
Just do as the others told... just ignore these streams!!
