Every expansion we are getting arena cards that will not see play in the constructed meta. We open them from packs and they become dust. Why not seperate arena cards from pack pool and design arena only cards for more cool stuff. As you remember, they brought some crazy arena only cards for a limited time and the cards made more people play arena and did not any effect on constructed meta. What do you think about it?
Nah i think its fine to have some filer cards as budget options for f2p decks, and also member Amani War Bear ? Everybody thought its Arena card but actually saw a decent amount of play, so you never know with these cards
How could anyone know which cards are arena cards and which are constructed cards? Or both? It's impossible to quees full impact of the released cards. You want example? Bonemare.
Being able to recognize sub-optimal cards in the constructed set is part of deck building. It would be foolish to deliberately remove that skill from a game that's already considered low-skill by some. (Not by me, but by some.)
Plus, some cards get better with more support in later expansions.
Plus, no matter how many cards you filter out, there will always be some cards remaining in the set that are considered less valuable. That's just math. So the whole idea is kind of pointless and impossible.
Plus, sometimes it's fun to make a theme deck even though the cards in it aren't the best.
Plus, I don't need you or anyone else telling me which cards I can and cannot use.
I generally think, any card that is not available for the constructed format, in other words not obtainable by the player, even those for adventures and the like, is a bit of a waste. Dungeon Run, for example, introduced the concept of pemanent passive effects, like all deathrattles activate twice. Rumble Run had permanent shrines with various effects. But in the actual game, you cannot intentionally build a deck around these and try them out against other players. You only see that the "technology" for these kind of things is there, but you can only temporarily and randomly access them in a limited environment. While it might be necessary to do so for the sake of a balanced competitive environment, it makes little sense to me to put them away entirely and possibly scrap them. The solo adventures are still fun and it's nice to have things in them you normally can't do, but it's still like seeing cards where you think "wow, that's so cool", but you can never really try them out the way you want.
While most "arena cards" are not very impressive, and more likely to be used only when you have to pick them in a randomized draft, I think it has a bit of a disconnection effect for the player when you see cards that are in the game, but only available for special events.
On the other hand, I have to admit I am not very happy about the large number of neutral cards that oftentimes feel like "pack filler". They are mostly uninteresting, uninspiring, almost "generic" cards, and just add pages to your collection that you glance over without really noticing them. They are added for the draft in arena, for results of random effects, like summoning a random 2-drop, and add otherwise nothing to the game. And I think expansions would be much more interesting if these cards were, at least most of them, a bit more than just that.
You could say arena doesn't need synergistic, interesting cards because you can't intend to build highly synergistic decks anyway, and there is some fun in playing with simple, almost generic cards that you otherwise wouldn't look at. It's fun to have just raw stats and try to use underwhelming abilities to the greatest effect. I think that's a compelling argument, but then again, I don't see why these cards have to be so underwhelming and below average in the constructive format. That of course also depends on how powerful constructed decks are, but that's another debate.

I think it's a difficult topic to debate.

So you want fewer cards in each set?
That would make the game cheaper, which means it's not going to happen.
Also, there needs to be filler cards to generate from random effects and for players with small collections to be able to build decks.
