Hello, i'm going to update my thread after a month of RoS :)
85% of people who voted in my Poll eagerly stated that Warlock would be fine this expansion. Zoo will be strong as always they thought, Plot Twist Warlock has much potential they told me... The truth is that Zoo sucks and almost none play it, plot twist warlock is a meme and control/handlock is tier 5. LOOOL
34 days after this post was created i can say I WAS RIGHT and you were wrong.
Warlock is not competitive and people who believed it would be good now are playing other classes.
Zoo is playable, because it's Zoo. Many things need to come together for Zoo to be a weak deck and while a lot of good cards leave, most of the answers your opponents need will leave as well. I'd honestly be surprised if some decklist with Knife Juggler, Sea Giant, maybe Magic Carpet and the ususal suspects won't have some success.

Zoo, like a number of other decks right now, primarily has a Rogue problem.
Rogue's tempo tools are too fucking good, and it beats Zoo (and crushes it if teching FoK). Rogue's only competitor, Control Warrior, eats zoo for lunch.
If/when Rogue and Warrior are nerfed, things might look sunnier for Zoo.
HSReplays is currently tracking Zoo as the seventh most-played deck on ladder, with a 52% win-rate. Everyone is free to interpret those numbers as they wish - but not all interpretations are equally valid.
For example, insisting that a deck squarely in Tier 2 actually "sucks" seems overly pessimistic, to say the least.
I'd advise the OP that holding a grudge for 34 days isn't wise - deep breaths and mindfulness are often more helpful than stewing on hurt feelings for months on end . . .
Oh come on, you are actually misleading people with hsreplay data. The deck might be played a lot because is so cheap so f2p people in noob ranks are running it. That also explain the winrate, is an aggro deck easy to play and easy to win vs bad decks and bad players who usually are in those noob ranks. Did you see many people playing this deck from rank 4 to legend? i bet you didn't, because it's so bad against rogue and warrior.
The general premise that Warlock did not get good cards seem to be mostly correct. Only EVIL Genius (which I thought will be too bad to make the cut) and Arch-Villain Rafaam are played as Warlock cards from RotS in Zoo. Magic Carpet is neutral.
However, Zoo is a viable deck and far from being utter trash. On Legend rank it is still Tier 3. And Plot Twist seems to be a really good wild addition from what I have heard.

Ok i agree on Zoo being good AFTER blizzard nerfs Rogue and Warrior. Tier3 is not competitive, is just 4fun.
Actually, when was the last time Warlock was good thanks to intentional Blizzard's design? And by saying "Blizzard's design" I mean using class cards as keys elements, which defines whole deck archetype. Last really good and strong Warlock deck was Cubelock, right? It was obviously defined by... well, cubes, neutral cards, while class cards were just supporting the whole idea. That (along with later nerfs) makes me believe, Blizzard didn't designed or even predicted this deck, that was just pure player's idea. And what was last good Warlock's deck before Cubelock? Reno Handlock, right? Deck defined mostly by Reno, Mountaing Giants and Molten Giants - yes, you guessed it - neutral cards...
In my opinion Blizzard is not even trying to create any new and interesting archetype for Warlock. His class cards are usualy bland and boring or funny but meta-wise useless memes. Discard pretty much never worked (due to lack of decent card support), same as hand buff.
I guess that next good and fun to play Warlock deck will be created, when Blizzard will make another oversight and won't predict some crazy synergies between Warlock and neutral cards. Otherwise, all we have is zoo, ancient archetype (from times of beta!) created in 80% of neutral cards. Yay... Even hunter - considered to be just aggro / face deck - now have several interesting and fresh archetypes (including mech and deathrattle), and they were clearly designed by Blizzard (we can tell because of good class cards supporting them). Warlock will probably never have same treatment...
After they HoFed Power Overwhelming and Doomguards I'm not even sure, if Warlock still has any key classic class cards (like Fireball, Swipe, Sap, Backstab, Shield Slam, Brawl or Kill Command). Lord J. is trash so maybe Hellfire? That's probably the best one.

See you :D
"Zoolock is not competitive" with a >60% win rate....
You're right on a lot of points but you're flat out wrong about the KnC Warlock set. Cube was key but Control Warlock was good too. Basically all the KnC Warlock cards were used and were good, and there was more than one OP class card for Warlock in that.

Use your imagination, there is so much potential. Demon-zoo and control-lock for instance are really promising.
"What have you got there,
PinocchioMalygos?"Yeah, for now remember me the Un'Goro, all classes have some decks to try and warlock was the trash tier.
Maybe we wrong about that but many classes have much better cards.
What are you even talking about? all the good stuff for control warlock is rotating and zoo loses keleseth, doomguards and got bad new cards LUL

Soooo...... enjoy playing craplock? :) See ya!
Zoolock? More like RNG Rafaamlock!
Brawlin Brawlin Brawlin!

Warlock can't be called "trash" as long as zoo exists, basically forever.
