You honestly didn't expect the aggro portion of the expansion? It's been in literally every expansion, and will be until this game turns the lights off...aggro is integral to the game dude.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I beg to differ. I feel like they really presented a balanced expansion with relatively high cost cards as well as relatively low ones, and that, early on. For instance, they introduced the lackeys right of the bat, along with Arch-Villain Rafaam. But maybe it is just a matter of perception
Cheated? No. You had to know the aggro was coming.
My major concern.... what is replacing Tar Creeper for control/mid-range decks to have a chance against aggro? I don't see how anyone have tools to stop aggro in the early game.
Except they kept hidden until the last minute all the key cards building up 2/3 aggro archetypes just on the final stream. The other ones shown we saw them coming. The aggro ones no. What a coincidence, right?
How can you feel cheated because of this. If a large portion of the expansion was aggro-based cards then maybe you'd have a point but I feel as if there is a good balance between aggro, control and mid-range. I think you're probably still bitter about the previous year of aggressive decks.
I'm not sure if I understand the OP's complaint - is he pretending that Blizzard promised that the new set wouldn't have support for Aggro, and by printing additional support for Imps, Murlocs and Token Druid, Blizzard is breaking their promise, thereby "cheating" him?
If so, his complaint seems lacking in merit - Blizzard didn't make any such claim, and none of the reveals over the past two weeks could reasonably be interpreted as an implicit promise to forgo support for Aggro; indeed, prior to the concluding livestream, they had already revealed a considerable amount of support for two of the three decks the OP is pretending to be upset about. It also seems unlikely that the OP can honestly be surprised that Hearthstone is printing a bunch of Murlocs, since they always print a bunch of Murlocs. Or more to the point - it seems unlikely that the OP is doing anything other than shit-posting, and he never once honestly thought that Blizzard would forgo support for any of the major archetypes in the game, much less Aggro.
Of course, if I'm wrong, and if the OP truly feels cheated, I'd strongly advise him to forgo playing HS, as well as stop posting on casual fan-sites devoted to the game, and I honestly hope he finds the courage to recover from the trauma which the livestream has clearly caused him.

But what tools does control and mid-range have against aggro? Tell me what cards will they be playing to survive until the later turns? Tar Creeper is the one card that finally gave control a chance, and it's gone. No early game taunts were printed.
Having aggro cards is fine. But not giving control cards to counter it is going to be a big problem. Priest losing Duskbreaker and Tar Creeper with no new cards means that class is effectively dead. Control warlock is dead without Creeper and Defile. Warrior is losing the odd mechanic and quest, so likely it also has no chance against aggro. Burgle rogue has absolutely nothing going for it to survive until it can cash in on the burgled cards (you saw it on the stream, it got ran over).

I like your jury-like ars oratoria. It makes you sound like some very intelligent person.
That said, I was only pointing out how, this time around, Blizzard released 95% of the aggro support cards on the final stream.
Nobody can argue that all the cards reveal seemed to point in a different direction. They always somehow did it, agreed, but never to this extent.
Bye everyone.

3 weeks of reveals of mid-range/control cards and now a s##tload of murlocs, imps and token druid. Well done, Blizzard, well done...
So don't buy the packs if you don't like the cards.

Remind me, what decks shown on live reveal made it to top tier decks ?
The most powerful cards in the game just got nerfed and/or are cycling out. Its not really surprising they have to fill out the whole meta now.

Its good for the game when at least 1-2 aggro decks are somewhat viable. Im sick of this retarded combo 100%<->0% matchup meta.

Control players are still whining even though most of the cards are control/value.
Druid was already scary. Imps don't look better than zoo today. Shaman might actually be scary.
On the flipside there were like 6 taunts revealed.
I dont feel betrayed.
