Why people hate to play wild? You can find diffrent cards and decks in there. Standard meta is playing over and over the same decks and cards. I just finished vs. and result is: secret hunter, odd mage, secret hunter, odd mage, odd mage, zoo warlock, another zoo, odd mage. I doubt that new expansion change something and after 1 month We will face the same archetypes over and over again.....
Ofcourse the rotation will change things up. Yes, the meta is boring now. Ive all but stopped playing the game, the last month. Just doing quests, and not even that sometimes because it feels so stale and old. But i do think ill be back when the rotation happens. Maybe this will be my last expansion, but i dont know.
By the way, its not a competition between standard and wild. Many many people play both formats and there are good arguments for playing both.
Also eventually in wild there will only be broken decks , cause they cant nerf every combo card.
So either you play the most powerful earlygameminions who exsits in the game since 2014 ,(wich sounds boring to me) or you play the fastest combo deck, sounds lame to me aswell.
Standards card pool is limiting, the most excitement around Rise is the actual rotation(and personally while Rise looks powered down i like the design they went with). so freshness will come from cards not being there because the pool will be the smallest. that will last a month or 2. usually for me thats when i go to wild just to keep things fresh or have some nostalgia until a new expansion drops.
Not this thread again... I've tried wild. Played until high legend. And the experience was more tedious than standard. There are a few interactions so broken (like 4/3 into Voidlord, 0 mana 5/5 or Barnes on 4), nothing can compete with them. Unless you're playing on rank 15, wild meta is less diverse than standard. It's also more stale, as new expansion adds comparatively little to the card pool. In standard however, over a third of the cards rotate, including many of the most powerful ones. To expect "the same archetypes over and over again" is nonsense.
Can wild players just stop with this. The same archetypes? Really? Like mill rogue is new? Or big priest? People are STILL playing Jade druid. Like why? Why would you keep playing that? Really why? I honestly want to know.

i played 16 games today an in my decktracker stats i faced 11 hunter 4 odd paladins and 1 odd mage.. and the decks ia face a TOTALY same, even 1 card difence.. u cant even have fun...
Playing both is fun, the funniest part about the standard elitists is that when the rotation happens wild changes also. Maybe not as drastic but there are still new archetypes that come up and are possible.
And old decks add new cards for new or different combinations
people who think the wild meta stays exactly the same after every rotation are completely ignorant

Well, in standard we will have big swing every 4 months, in wild you would play same op decks to eternity. And standard is the boring one?
yeah gonna be a lot of odd mage in standard next week
sure odd mage , odd paladin and even lock will swarm the standard ladder again next week lol

new cards are in wild too every 4 months
I think that is less boring if U have more to choose then less

Giants and Big Priests are really exciting, aren't they?
I've no clue what I'm doing...
Do you have some time to talk about our lord and savior.... Barnes
No clue dude I've switched to wild months ago haha
Plus I can play the decks I want and not whatever standard limits it to be.

Pls not again xD
I just got a report on telling a guy to stop acting like a little kid for keep his Barnes-hate thread up xD
Barnes is not OP ok? XD
I play both

u think standard is boring bcuz u played it too much
try to play wild for long term
u think there is deck diversity ? try to pass rank 5 and play vs even shaman - pirate rouge - mech hunter and odd paladin in 9/10 games
