I am tired of seeing these stupid priest decks and rogue decks who take turns well beyond the rope timer expiring to ultimately kill you i just watched a priest one shot me some 40-60 seconds after the rope timer should have timed out and he just kept restacking these stupid goblin things and just kept killing them repeatedly but the timer was well beyond expiring for him to boost a 1/1 boar to a 32/1 minion? that whole turn took more than 90 seconds on up to over 2 min and 30 sec for him to finish everything all the while the other player on the other side cheesing and spam emoting like a dick new full well he wasnt gonna get timed out.....this shit needs to be fixed or yall can refund me all the money i have been putting into this game over the years and shut my hearthstone acct down cuz this is garbage hacks that need to be resolved.
Pretty sure the player made all their actions before the rope timed out. The animations are what take so long and make it seem like they are playing past the rope.
You don't get any extra time. What's happening is that the opponent is inputting all of the steps before the animations finish and before the rope burns out. The trick is that while the rope 'ends' as usual to them while the animations keep going, you see the rope 'hang' while the animations go on. Their rope ended though and they can't do anything more.
I think this is the 100th whine topic regarding this and as always the answer is: Use the salt thread and whine about the length of animations instead because the players doesn't have extra time.
Yea dude sorry to tell you but 100% he finished all his actions before rope ran out and animations took time to play out for you. I’ve played the boar topsy deck a decent amount and have certainly ran out of time trying to combo off before..
Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
I think it would make for a good psychological study to come into these forums and observe cases where people have read forum threads that cover a topic . . . and then make a new thread on the same topic.
For the 573rd time on these forums, unless there is a bouncing bronze dragon in play, no one is taking more than the allotted turn time. If you refuse to understand the effect of latency on your display of your opponent's turn, I can't help you.

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.

True. Plus there is client mod with animations speed regulator. Pretty useful for shudderwock/apm decks.

The Problem is not the Rope timer the Problem is that your opponent is doing his plays much faster than you see him play the Cards because you see more Animations of the Cards getting played. That means for him he is totaly in time with his turn and bc you see all the card animations (likely to be 10 or 15 cards in some combos) much slower it looks like he could use more time and the rope dosnt end. But thats a Visual Problem not a game Problem.
Your Opponent still has the same time for his turn that you have. Always.
I am still asking myself, when I have to watch the animations, do I lose some time of my turn or do the 90 seconds start after my opponent's animations finished? And there is also the problem of playing via mobile phones - there I have the feeling, I only have half the time left my opponent gets for his turns ... My proposal would be that the next turn only starts when the animations are finished for both players ...
I would even go so far and say that you should get extra seconds per card played. Animations can be frustating and it feels realy bad when they interrupt your play!
It‘s almost never relevant that your oponents animations take off time of your own turn but i guess this could be fixed easily by starting the turn only when the animations are through.
In the end, it‘s those animations that make hearthstone special for me, when compared to other CCG‘s

Ok but Hearthpwn can't do anything about that.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
You can't just complain about a problem without proposing a solution. What would you do, cut the turn short once the animation length hits 90 seconds?

Its apm, nothing else. Also hearthpwn can't do anything about it
it made me remember Youthful Brewmaster + Nozdormu meme.
That's not a hack...
This is how the game works, calm down and go to the pepper thread :)

Do you have a link for that?
Is it allowed by rules of Hearthpwn forum ? =)

this has actually been fixed, back in the day the timer would eat your time as well, and your turn would end immediately
now your turn starts exactly when the animations end and you get the full 90 seconds

You would have never survived the original Shudderwock animations if APM Priest is triggering you this bad.
