It's basically a casino game. I love it, but so much gambling is involved both in pack purchasing and in the gameplay. Is it worth having an age rating, maybe 5+ atleast? ThOuGhts?
Where do the kids get the money from for the game? Don't they need Paypal or a credit card? Kind of pointless if they need parents to facilitate it anyway.

Not sure if this was a serious question, but Hearthstone is already rated as T for Alcohol Reference, Blood, Fantasy Violence, and Mild Suggestive Themes.

there is a pegi rating on hearthstone in europe that says 7 years old, it stupid to call hearthstone gambling, because u arent forced to pay and kids have to get the parents to pay. It would be the same as calling games that contain skins for the models gambling with the random deals they offer.

Should there be an age rating on physical card game packs due to gambling themes?
That's different, you can open the packs for them. In Hearthstone the child has to use the mouse themselves.

I fully agree that its gambling. I love this game, but its true. Its just like pulling the lever at a slot machine to see which pictures you get.
I refuse to accept it's gambling personally. I am highly psychic and use card packs for scrying, for example. Similar to tarot.

A child can also open the packs themselves. Lots of children get into physical card games. LGS are like casinos.

It should be rated M
If a child has their own money, they can spend it on what they want. If a parent gives them their credit card, thats their own falt.
Fault* LOL

Congratulations jwbrain!!! :D :D :D
I dont think I understand. you think there should be an age rating because there is a luck factor involved when opening packs?
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.

Totally. Hearthstone was my gateway to hardcore card games and now I owe the Yakuza my left kidney.
I search in Google the age rating for Hearthstone: It has T for Teen in ESRB rating and Pegi 7 in Pegi standards.
Always look on the random side of life.
