Is it just me or the new expansion is just making cards to redress, keep the current decks/meta alive and not really great possibilities of a new meta, deck creation and creativity?
So far some of the are like that. But there are some new cool cards in their. Except for priest because priest isnt allowed variety. I feel so far they are nice support core cards. Hopwfully we get some cool crazy gimek cards like anchient one.

If you have a deck idea might as well go full ham on it.
I think this first xpac after rotation is intended to reset the power level. If they are consistent in their next xpacs, these cards will gain support, the power level will reach its peak, rinse and repeat.

Usually there is a new big archtype or power card along with great support cards. Old gods most of the power was in the old gods and the rest was solid core cards. Ungoro had quest, witchwood had odd/even. Looking like nothing like that this time around. They ate setting up to support last 3 expansions and basic deck types for classes. Which is good except for the massive power vaccum

"mmm, I need to sign up with new account, need to open a thread like there are not tons of same thread, need to shittalk about how i am pissed about new expansion but i need my OWN thread for that, because I cant satisfy my ego if I can't take attention."

Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
OP what are you talking about? There is a massive shift in archetype potential in this expansion that may have existed but aren’t in the current meta.
Secret or dragon Paladin, fatigue warrior, and a non-elemental minion mage has some great support. Further, even existing archetypes see a shake-up, with spell hunter looking more damage focused instead of summon based, deathrattle and mech getting more support, and fatigue/control rogue looking less like an annoying meme deck.
I don’t think we’re looking at the same cards, OP. Or you’re complaining about one set card instead of the landscape as a whole.
Until April 9th, seems too soon to be making any kind of call.
Also with some of the arguably strongest expansions rotating out plus Genn and Baku as well as the fact that we don't know what all the new cards are yet maybe people should just wait and see before making a judgment on what this expansion will be like.
New archetypes are being pushed (dragón paladin, summoner mage, spell damage hunter) while other existing ones are getting more support (secret paladin, rezz priest). Some cards have a lot of potential but there isn't a clear archetype for them yet (Jepetto). Seems to me that most people are looking for a central mechanical theme to the expansion when there isn't one. The main theme is represented through flavor (villains vs. Defenders)

I see lots of new decks to try and tons of weak archetypes that are becoming viable. Maybe you need some more creativity in the deck building process.
custom hearthstone cards are lightyears ahead of these boring ass recycled cards
I literally feel the exact opposite of this

Still less than half the cards revealed
What's actually uncreative is when players have to have a new archetype force-fed to them before they will even recognize it exists.
There are tons of creative possibilities in the new set so far. If you can't see them, you are the one who's being lazy.

half of the meta archetypedecks won't work from 2 weeks to go simply because of rotation but okay....
"keep the current decks/meta alive and not really great possibilities of a new meta, deck creation and creativity?"
...most of the meta-defining cards are rotating or being HOF'ed...? does not compute

Each expansions brings usually a new mechanic. RoS has brought us twinspell and scheme mechanics.
What are you talking about??
Uncreative is the wrong word.Rise of Shadows isn't uncreative or lazy or a rehash. Twinspell, Lackeys, and schemes are new.
But something is missing to make people feel this way.
And that is the WOW factor. Shine. Pizazz. ROS does notnany thing that compares to Old gods or Legendary Quests of other opener expansions.
Rise of Shadows lacks a new array of new build around decks.

Yawn.
"Everyone! Get in here!"
just because people are expecting the next 2 mana board clear, 0 mana 40/100 boardstate and FLJaina 2 Electric Boogaloo doesn't mean they SHOULD
Blizzard created a completely new and fresh archetypes know as Odd/Even.
People complain so much they decide rotate all cards sooner.
Blizzard recicle old ideas in new directions and...
People complain the game is boring.
Impossible, just impossible.
