Drawing three cards that cost 0 mana each, seems like a rather good strategy for tempo decks... Heistbaron Toggwaggle is a mental card, no matter what archetype you play.

Normally I would agree but this card is so insanely strong that it can make control or midrange lackey rogue an archetype all by itself.
Rogue will still lose to aggro like always, but beating control, combo, and midrange decks is perfectly reasonable with a miracle or tempo style including Togwaggle.
I also hate to hear "X archetype doesn't exist, so Y card is bad" right before a MASSIVE meta shift. Nobody knows what will happen. Control murloc hunter could be the next meta deck for all we know.
He is right you know? Rogue doesn't have big aoe or taunts if it falls in tempo too much it loses hard unless we see more removal/survavility , there's a reason burgle rogue doesn't work.
Just btw, Kripp made a video that said Deathstalker rexxar wasn't disliked. Let's be real, he's a pro, but he certainly doesn't know what he's talking about sometimes.
Fair enough, that statement makes sense if there is no Control archetype for Rogue, but Togwaggle doesn't have to be a strict control card? Seems to me that it can be played just as fine in a Tempo / Midrange deck as a value drop or a big board swing (given you have Preparation in hand, which you might play for Walk the Plank / other spells since Vilespine is rotating out).
The only thing that would make Togwaggle absolutely terrible is if all the Lackey generating cards would end up being so poor that forcing them into your deck would not be worth it for his effect.
You can't be too optimistic to say it's too op because of past rogue playstyles and limitations, but at the same time you are right, you can't just say it's not gonna happen cause spell hunter is a thing now, and it was dismissed as well.
Krip is classically not very good at card evaluation.
Frankly, I don't think Togwaggle will ONLY be in control decks. It'll just be a 2 or 3 card package in a tempo deck because you'll have to beat warrior somehow.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kripp ends up being wrong, but everyone makes mistakes and the man is just giving his opinion, which is his job after all.
Lmao guess that was before a streamer aaid anything about it huh!

He is 12, don't take him seriously
I'd pay like to see his face after his first loss against Togwaggle Rogue due to "insane RNG".

The idea is that this meta might me the one to make control rogue a thing. You can't just say "it's never worked" and dismiss it
