I'm a diehard controlplayer but let's be real - aggro needs some serious love now.
You really don't sound like a Control player lol.
In any case, no: we've come from an year that was equally split between aggro (Odd Rogue, Odd Pala, first Even Pala, HealLock, Dire Mole into Crackling Razormaw, Quest Rogue again, Odd Aggro Mage... did I miss any?) and OTK (every possible form of Druid, every possible form of Malygos, Uther OTK, Shirvallah OTK, Cloning Priest) with some sprinkles of Odd Warrior (just why?), casual midrange and like 2 Control deck. All this in 12 months.
Aggro will never die due to the good package in Basic and Classic set, but
I want to lose to something different and possibly not on turn 6
Control Warlock
Control Mage
Odd Warrior
Odd Control mage
Taunt Druid
Dragon Priest
Also keep in mind that a lot of these OTK decks ran a buttload of anti aggro tools, making them OTK decks with a huge control shell. A good example was Shudderwock Shaman.
I mean, when you think about it logically, then have to print some other charge card at some point. not that I particularly miss charge, I am glad that they replaced it with rush, but there probably be other charge minions. even if its just 1 or 2.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.

Odd Control Mage, as well as Control Mage in general, is Tier 3 at best; Control Warlock had 1 new card in 12 months (Lord Godfrey) and now it's not even that great now (fortunately).
I forgot to say that with "like 2 Control decks" I mean 2 legit ones.
All OTK decks run a Control shell: if you want to pull of your combo you have to survive, and that's what Control deck can do really well; sure you have your draw package, but I've never seen an OTK deck without some sort of removal/stall card.
I think they'll still print some conditional chaarge minions eventually. Charged Devilsaur for example was a pretty fair card that allowed for some neat combos.
They can also indirectly support by printing more cards like Kathrena Winterwisp
The main reason why they don't print much charge anymore is because it's a boring mechanic that doesn't really allow for creative design. CAn't print them well-statted because they'd end up in a brainlesss bummrush deck, meaning we get garbage like Chillblade Champion. Rush is much lesss aggressive and can be applied in different ways.
Charge should be reserved for big win conditions like Grom, King Krush and the occasional Leeroy...aka 1-of Legendaries that don't allow you to just run down your opponent without punishment.
I'm still waiting for them to change Stonetusk Boar into a vanilla 2/1 Beast (which unironically would make it much more useful than it is now)
Chillblade Champion is one of my potential win conditions as well as a stabilizer in my Handbuffadin. He saved my ass countless times. :P
And I hope Stonetusk Boar stays the way it is as well, I need it that way. :P
Not complaining, but I'm also mentioning examples - Quest Rogue, Deathstalker Rexxar.
