Now the real question is: When you see your opponent using the emote, why do you think he did it?
Many players seem to think it's BM but from what I read here, it's not ( You wouldn't expect your opponent to remain silent when you make a huge misplay, would you?)
3) Basically, after every game, no matter the outcome. Sometimes when I have lethal on board and the opponent pass the turn to me or sometimes, when I have lethal in hand and the opponent pass the turn to me - but in both occasions - no sarcasm behind it.

I always say "Well played", but I especially mean it:
1. When I know they have lethal in hand (not on the board) and that I can't prevent it, and I say "Well played" before I end my turn and let them kill me.
2. When I know that I have lethal in hand (not on the board) and that they have just ended their turn without being able to prevent it.
3. When it's both, and I end my turn knowing that if they don't kill me in their next turn, I will kill then in my next. "Well played" means "This game is over, one way or another, and it was close. Can you win, if not I will?"

You use the "Well Played" emote to:
1) Sarcastically warn your adversary that you are surely going to kill him this or next turn;
2) To make a real compliment to your adversary for being a real "worthy opponent" or making a really good play
3) Another use (feel free to name it).
1 + 2 + 3 (trolling after opponent's big mistakes)
all of the above with the 3rd as a taunt for them misplaying
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
all 3
If my opponent was a dumb-wit and did a bad play I need to highlight that they did a stupid
Mostly at the end of the game once the game has been decided (win or lose). Not sarcastically, but I am sure some will take it that when I win.
Also if opponent makes a good play (or a lucky play). Sometimes this will be sarcastic. I.e 'well played' if opponent coins out Kelseth on turn 1.
2. I use well played when i consider that the game has been interesting or specially funny.
Well played when one of the players has lethal and knows it.

3) just before I concede because I know I’m dead.
Mmmmmmm.... Shadowy thoughts.
I use it as a compliment when a game has been well played.
If you are in your first year of playing please read this post.
Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
2) I do this.
3) Just to notate that the game is now over.
4) Sarcastically when someone makes a truly horrible play.

1) but not sarcasticly. I end all games with well played, win or lose
2) if they do something good i say it. If its lucky i wow
If you have a deck idea might as well go full ham on it.
(2) when it really was an interesting game, even if I lose it.
I don't use (1) as it shows a bad behavior on my part.
All three, depends on gameplay and opponent.

1:when I surely can win next turn/or if my opponent will win. (I don't emote well played if they played really bad or rope/spam emotes)
2: when they made a very good play.
I am spamming well played when I will win at 100%. I like to make people angry. I am a bad person I know. But it is fun.

Using 'well played' by hitting the squelch button at the start of the game
