What happened to the Aggro decks? I mean the WHAM, BAM, THANK YOU ma’am decks. Can we please get back to the face decks? I would like for one game to NOT take fourth forevers to finish.
But isn't the whole point of aggro decks is that the opponent doesn't get a choice in the matter? You come at them guns blazing and they either deal or get smoked. That's why people don't like aggro, the agro player decides how the game goes.

I agree, a healthy midrange meta is the ideal format. Neither overly aggro or overly control is fun. And with so much control right now, climbing the ladder is just not attractive at all.

People hate aggro because even an idiot can win occasionally by ignoring everything and going face, because bad draw = you can't punish your opponent. I agree that drawn out games where neither player does anything are boring, but dying on turn 4 is not fun either. Make midrange great again.
You can just play something like Odd Hunter, or a faster Midrange version. About as straightforward as they get. Also, I had a Shaman quest today and aksed the game what would be the best deck for me with my very limited collection - turned out it was a burn deck with Spirit of the Frog, a Doomhammer, two Lava Burst and two Rockbiter Weapon. I would have never made such a deck myself, but In about 30 minutes, I had won 5 games and was done with my 30 Shaman cards...
If you keep seeing heavy control decks that do nothing but stalling, play something like Mecha'thun. That's what it's there for after all, and in Druid, it doesn't even take all that long to end games. Not exactly face deck, but the more appropriate counter.
Play Wild. Enjoy Even Shaman, Pirate Warrior (my personal favorite, made rank 3 with it this month) or Odd Rogue. Of course, there are the occasional Rez Priest and Control Warlocks, but it's a lot more of "face is the place" than standard is at the moment.
NOTHING pisses me off more then a Mecha’thun deck. Nothing. *bangs head against the wall*
Since you mentioned it, that is something that even an aggro and a control player can agree on, Mecha'thun Warlock is infesting Wild right now and I hate that it makes me have to put Demonic Project in my Renolock instead of some better card, but oh well at least I win more
Bring ‘em on, the aGGro girls & boys enrich this game. Nothing is more satisfying than surviving their assault and then seeing them concede after turn 7
There's a few well-performing aggro/midrange decks in standard right now. Just play those until the rotation and then you can go ham when the new cards come out and nobody is prepared for face decks.
myra's unstable element tempo rogue is pretty good, and there's a few flavors of aggro hunter that are doing really well right now. i mean probably don't craft them rn because of rotation but aggro is far from dead

Like I said, Pirate Warrior is pretty strong, too. Sharkfin Fan enables Skycap'n Kragg for 1-3 mana. It may not be Tier 1, but it is definetly at least Tier 2. It's stronger than Pirogue, Odd Pala and Mech Hunter, but mostly an auto-loss against Even Shaman.

That is, what OP is talking about. Either winning fast, or conceding when they're out of gas. Those are fast games and perfectly fine to farm wins with.

Sincerely,
”Some like the Aggro”
So, weren't you able to SMOrc anyone hard enough with Odd Paladin (pre- and post-nerf) being one of the best decks around? Too bad, eh.

whats the point in playing if you dont get to use all 30 of your starting cards
Step 1: Pick Warlock
Step 2: Click "Complete Deck"
Step 3: Hit Rank 5 in 20 mins with the hyper aggro zoo deck it gives you
Since you mentioned it, that is something that even an aggro and a control player can agree on, Mecha'thun Warlock is infesting Wild right now and I hate that it makes me have to put Demonic Project in my Renolock instead of some better card, but oh well at least I win more
#truth
Then you realize Hearthstone is only about 5 cards for each class.
Choose between Aggro / AOE

just play wild where the tier 1 decks are:
aggro pirate rouge - odd paladin - even shamn - mech hunter

Odd pala do the job
