So you want Dragon Paladin, an old deck to come back, but at the same time you don't want old effects? Huh. Guess there's just no way to please everyone.
"some love for shaman with some decent Spells , a good warrior Legendary" These two have already happened, Shaman received Hagatha's Scheme which will be the strongest aoe card in standard and warrior received Blastmaster Boom, a better Dr 7.
Ok if you consider Blastmaster Boom good that’s your opinion, hagatha‘s scheme is a replacement for volcano which is much better .
Just like it's your opinion that Blastmaster Boom isn't good. Boom may not be tier 1 lich king type legendary, but it promotes new way of playing Warrior, isn't that what you want ?
I didn’t even say anything in fact it’s playable I give you that and there will be people trying this card out but like mention it’s probably not in a tier 1 deck and it definitely opens a new archetype for warrior , so let me quickly edit that .. and it’s gone , now don’t mention Boom master again thanks

Dude Tribals don’t equal effects, of course I want new and interesting effects , I‘m ok if they want to print more mechs , murlocs or elementals at least make it exciting.
It's not really just an opinion, the old Dr boom was incredibly good and the new one is as good if not better with how much bomb synergy there is. Volcano is garbage when compared to Hagatha's scheme, if you keep it in the mulligan then on turn five it will do 5 to everything, for a total of 70 damage across all minions. With no overload. If you can't understand how strong that is, then I don't know what to tell you. It will arguably be the strongest aoe in the entirety of Hearthstone.
What I'm saying, is that it's silly to expect an old deck to come back but at the same time being against old effects coming back.
Hagatha's scheme is good because of the no overload, but it has downsides too. Just because you Mulligan for it doesn't mean you get it. Plus volcano can destroy a 7/7 and and 8/8 if that's what's on the board, it doesn't care about divine shield, etc etc. Not saying the scheme is bad, but it's not the best AOE in the game, just different.

It is the best though, no other aoe can deal 40 damage to all minions for 5 mana (a strange option, but one that is possible with this card if you wish to do so.) Divine shield is barely a problem, with it being such a rare effect now some divine shield cards rotate out. Not to mention divine shield minions are rarely threatening, the worst would be Shirvallah which will generally lose its shield from trading and will be left with 5 health. I see Shaman as the new top dogs just because of Hagatha's scheme, but I guess we won't know until April.
I personally like what I'm seeing so far, but I won't preorder just yet, before I know what the full deal is. Might just end up getting the 50 bundle regardless though, as I have about 30k dust after the rotation (never play wild, so I dust stuff) so I can make quite a bit of what I'd want at that point.
As for favorites so far: Khadgar looks fun, bomb/mech Warrior looks interesting, and Togwaggle is an absolute monster that anyone would be lucky to get. Hoping to see them add something for the Healadin they tried to push in Rastakhan though, to make that deck better.
well I agree with you to some extent you have to understand that recycling these game mechanics also helps to create a more consistent game experience overall. constantly throwing in new mechanics is what led to this current meta being so stale and unbalanced. there wasn't enough thought put into what these mechanics were going to do to the overarching meta. I'd rather have them recycle a few mechanics if it means they don't try to create a whole bunch of new ones every single time they release an expansion.
The current meta isn't stale and unbalanced. It's boring and too balanced. Nothing exciting or interesting. Totally meh gameplay these days; nothing exciting. Which is why I haven't played any real hearthstone in several months. The decks are totally uninteresting; and the decks are actually too closely balanced. Most games end up being a simple coinflip of who draws better.

I dunno, a good but in some ways flawed board clear is hardly definitive. You can topdeck it and it's the worst AOE in the game. Dealing 40 points of damage after 40 turns is hardly the same as playing nether for 8 which clears the board regardless of anything - does the 3 mana really count that much in a control deck? I just want to make it clear that I don't dislike the card, but it is conditional. And playing against a warrior, there's always a chance you're going to face a bulldozer, it's happened to me a few times. Tirion still sees play, sometimes people buff with zilliax, or buff a weak divine shield minion, not to say divine shield is the end all and be all, just in some situations volcano or even hysteria is equal or Superior to HS. I play lots of shaman, so I hope you're correct.
Two threads that i will never understand; "Man, I'm so Hyped" and "Man, It's so boring".
You can live those emotions alone. Why are you bothering people?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
I am baffled at how so many people in this thread are satisfied no matter what, simply by the Rotation of hated cards.
No wonder the game is not improving anymore: why putting any serious effort if milking people with Rotations is so easy?
IT: yes i am also not convinced. Even tho we've seen few cards, we've seen also the quality of the last stream. If 1+1=2, this expansion is not going to be living to its expectations, and by far.
When they started the rotation, they said they would never reprint the same card but they are already doing that. They changed the name of the card and its body but they are reprinting the same cards with the same effects, if they would reprint the same cards over and over again what was the point of rotation????
This. It's a little silly to pay again for the "same" cards that have been rotated out of our standard deck when you could just play wild instead. Ok I'm probably just an optimistic idiot and we haven't seen 25% of the expansion and I've already pre-ordered...
I don’t like the way blizzard is rebranding most card effects we have already seen.
That is part of the theme: bringing back old villains with a mechanic from their set.
I don't mind old mechanics returning, as long as it's not carbon copies of things that already existed. For example Discover is an awesome mechanic and I'm glad they're still making cards with that keyword. Another example is Hench-Clan Burglar: it is obviously very similar to Blink Fox, but it is also a pirate so there are different synergies and with the updated steal mechanic it's better versus other Rogues.
Expectations I still have :A new archetype for Druid which doesn’t rely on a OTK to kill your opponent and doesn’t include treants
I think it's pretty clear that the Druid archetype they're pushing for this set will be a slower type of token deck that does use treants. Sets usually don't push two class-specific archetypes at once, so I think the only chance for a different Druid archetype is one using neutral cards as its core and Druid cards as support, like the Arcane Giants druid deck that existed just before MSG.

Louder, for the people in the back!

I dont care about this. Give me more elementals or RIOT!!!!
Expansion is boring and adds no cool cards and no new mechanics. I agree on 0/10.

Rexxar was literally the only thing that made the game worth playing through the era of Baku. God damn I'm happy that bag of crap is being put down.
That's so simple. Leave it or Play it.
What's the reason of whining all the time ?

I am more happy that Odd Warrior is gone imo. That just felt plain unfun to play against + the wins and losses are 90% decided by the matchup.

for now i am pretty hyped i really love the new cards so far.
