Perhaps someone out there has seen someone who has filled up this gracious empty space for numbers with actual numbers? (Probably just with a 1 all the way over to the left if so, I would imagine!?!)
Gold cap is at 999,999 with a warning at 997,999. You would be less than a third of the way to this milestone if you completed your 30 wins every day, completed your quest at an average of 60 gold per day, and completed an arena run of average wins 5-8 once per week since release. I believe Kripparrian holds the most gold in the game, check his most recent video.

Interesting! This has got me thinking what the maximum possible gold someone could have got since release, with an unnatural amount of luck to do so (restricted only to 1 arena attempt per day):
100 gold per day by doing 30 wins. + 100 gold per day by miraculously rolling "Total Dominance" everyday + 390 gold in arena everyday from 12 wins and magically obtaining the maximum gold reward available (540- the 150 cost to play arena) = 590 gold per day
Hearthstone was released on 11th March 2014, which is 1842 days since today (26th March 2019).
Meaning, with phenomenally, astoundingly, astronomically tremendous luck, you could have obtained 1,086,780 gold in that time
Therefore, theoretically, (Just like theoretically, you can walk through a wall if none of the atoms collide) you could have obtained 1 million gold by October 30th 2018 (1695 days after release)
So, to answer the initial question: No. nobody has done that.

Haha, that's great. Thanks for the number crunching. I didn't realize there was a gold cap! Interesting indeed.
@Nargacuga15 - which video? His latest one is a card review video. :o
Edit: For fun I decided to do some photoshopping... looks like the empty space in the coin display holds up to 99,999,999,999! (That's 99 billion, 999 million, 999 thousand and 999 coins.) So they planned ahead pretty good on that one, but it's pointless I guess, since there's a coin cap. Hmph. More money than I will ever see, that is for certain!!!
The Internet is a vast universe of information.

Time to save up for the next expansion, y'all!
Gary out.
I NEED THIS INFORMATION
It's about 1 million of gold to fill this, I don't think it's even possible to get this amount since the game launch ..
I'm sorry for my bad english :D
