Rise of Shadows is the most important expansion for the next two years because this will be the cards that will be playable for more time (year of the dragon a the next year). So i've saved a lot of dust (+/-17.000) and a lot of gold (+/- 6.000).
I am wondering whats the comunity average of gold savings!
got currently 2K sadly I should've started saving sooner.. started saving last month :/ I was waiting for my pity timer on rastakan before stopping to buy those packs.. it the end it wasn't worth it at all could have 1K more

If it helps, I always consider the first month of the expansion as PART of the gold I can use for that expansion. I don't start saving for next expansion until a month after the first. Doing so gets you to about 8k next expansion.
Meanwhile that's another 1500 gold you can put into Shadows.
Also if you have enough ability to go through Arena to get 4 wins on average a run then consider putting that gold into arena runs. A 4+ wins the rewards you get means you get packs at a cheaper cost than normal pack opening (150 spent then 50-70 gold/dust = 80-100 spent per pack compared to 100 for the plain pack). Thus it's a great way to stretch your funds while getting to feel how the new cards work.
I right now I have 7485g and 150 dust. I crafted every card going to HoF in Golden which I will DE after the patch. Leaving me with my normal ones. And a ton of dust.

8000 gold and 9000 dust after HoF rotation.
I think you added too much zeros in the last answer lol anyways, slightly more than 10k
Personally, less than usual for a new expansion. All those quests packs decrease the amount of gold I was able to save .
Fortunately the hof dust is huge to compensate.

3700 gold and like around 6000 dust.
The usual 7k+ gold I get between expansions just from doing dailies. And about 20k dust after HoF rotation happens.
I haven't played since a few weeks into Witchwood, so I only have 1,000.
But it's cool because I have a job. I don't mind being a whale.
I will get a lot of dust back from crafting golden Hall of Fame cards, so that will help.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

We already have a (long-running) thread discussing people's resource tallies for this particular expansion. We don't need another one.
