The only thing that really annoy me is see same characters after just a year. Dr Boom, Hagatha and all the others, how is possible they didn't find new villains from Warcraft World or wherever? Old mechanics back could be ok, as long they don't bring infinite value like the Dks and even/odd decks.
I don't understand how people can judge the new expansion now, considering the cards missing and, most of all, the rotation. Will be a kind of HS 2.0.

Bro my problem is nt the expansion or judging. The point I am making is exactly what you brought up! I said it in other posts, warcraft universe is the biggest and they already made new characters before (togwaggle/hagtha) why not make a new league of villians?? Also Dr.Boom isnt that important to warrant 3 cards in his name !!
The game should not be about infinite value for sure, control matches are tactical and fun but shoudn't let you play with 60 cards (deadman's hand) or surviive 7-10 turns of fatigue....
Because they wanted the villains to be established characters of Hearthstone. People seem to think that Blizzard just randomly picked them for the set.
It's great they're reprinting old cards because Hearthstone is a game over 5 years olds and calling back old cards and mechanics brings a lot of good nostalgia and is smart design wise. Allowing us to explore old mechanics that were never fully explored and allow for some newer Standard only players to play with mechanics that have now moved to Wild.
On the stream most of you hated so much the Designer guy said they have wanted to do this since the start of hearthstone and they have been laying the groundwork ever since.
If anything this is the most thought about expansion/yearly sets that we have ever had.

Anybody thinking this is lazy or boring is DRASTICALLY underestimating the set rotation itself. There are over 400 cards just *poof* out of standard.
But that's not the expansion. That's the rotation,
The issue is some people are more hyped for the rotation than the next expansion. Blizzard should not want this.

It is not great.
