Welcome bundles, karazhan and ~10 packs Once u get a kinda decent collection together u dont really need to spend again (unless you want every single card)
Should be ~945€.... holy crap I didn't expact that. Only bought pre orders (all of them, in case of 2 different pre orders the more expensive one) and all the bundles. There were some packs I bought in GvG and some additional packs I bought in MSoG.
what i really want to make clear here, you don't need to buy any packs with real money. it's completely unnecessary, i rarely even play the game at all anymore. maybe earn 80 gold a day maximum and when i look at my collection - the card amount is the same or even more than from the expansion i bought money packs from. the only difference is + 3 to 5 legendaries more and a couple more epics. cards that don't see play regardless.
please just stop wasting your money on cards that have 0 real world value, just glorified pixels. thanks!
I think I'm around 300+ :D In Closed beta I spend around 50 euros on arena runs. I never spend money until one adventure (I forgot which one) and the welcome bundle. But i definitely order 3-4 pre-bundles in the later expansion. I don't really wanna spend more, but it's always so tempting to buy the pre-order... I'm going to wait until all the cards are released though.
Man..... i think ive spend more than anyone tbh with myself and you guys ive spended over 15-20k since naxxramas i own every card you can imagine golden..... all my meta decks each expansion, each meta change and each year is all golden. Everything i think i can recall having all golden legendaries just missing like 4-5 from the whole legendary collection just missing like 4-5 legends.... im craZy i know but is ok.
Been a F2P player since Beta. Saving up gold for Naxx was tough because I kept spending it on arena every time I had enough. Then, in between GvG and TGT, I got on a big ranked kick and grinded a lot of gold from dailies and the 3 win gold, but didn't spend it on anything because I was waiting in anticipation for the next expansion. Then, I was very unimpressed with TGT, so I saved my gold and continued to accumulate it so that I wouldn't have to grind anymore for when a set released.
I considered putting money in many times for a pre-order, especially Old Gods, but I reasoned that with that amount of money, I could either do better in one game for about 2 years (because of the rotation), or I could buy an entire new game that could still be fun to play several years down the road. Then again, I am different than most people in that I don't care much about ranked anymore and I frequently go back and play older games (I'm just now playing Far Cry 3 for the first time). I don't hold it against anyone who spent any amount of money on Hearthstone, in fact I am glad that they do, because that means that I am likely to continue enjoying this game for many years to come.

You do realise that if everyone listened to you and noone spent nay money on the game, it would generate zero revenue and just shut down?
Free to play players are fine but when they start lecturing people about funding a game that then enables them to play for zero cost, I lose a lot of respect for them as a person
Same with people who are 'proud' they've never spent a penny. Congratulations on being a free loader.
To answer the op, probably around £100/£150, I started playing when koft had been out for a bit.

I need to digest this .....

Did everybody calculate/estimate how much money did you spend on this game?
$0/£0 yay!
.
Only the welcome bundle - 5$
Just leaving a comment here in order to look at how much I'm broken compared to other people lol
from launch-ungoro: about 350-400
after ungoro: zero
and the fun fact is, there's almost no difference at all. talk about wasted money

F2P since launch... ride or die!!!
More than I would like to admit to spending.
I'm not dead yet!
It's a fun game. I'm an adult with my own money. I'll spend it as I see fit

3 adventures, 2 welcome bundles, the wild bundle and Magni. (Over 4 years)
i playing since TGT
every expansion i buy the pre order and i also buy all the special bundles so maybe around 300-400 $
Who the hell spent 10k on the game? has to be a joke right..
Close to $2000 over the past 4 years (started just before TGT release); works out to be a dollar a day. No biggie, I'm having fun.
