"It's just a game" Of course it is. Sure you maintain your zen at all times
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Is that a joke or what? Yeah, it's just a game, bro, deal with it and learn to control your most basic emotions, you're not a monkey for God sake...
So if people are emotional you compare them to monkeys? Jesus christ youre edgy. "I have full control over my emotions, I only make decisions based on thinking, facts." Blabla. Jesus christ, learn that people are different.
Wtf??? I never said I have full control over my emotions. I'm an emotional being just like you, I'm not a robot. It's only that some are more than others, that's all. But if someone can't control their most basic emotions while playing a video game, well, yeah, he or she is comparable to a monkey in my mind.
The way you talk about it just shows that you still have a lot to learn in life, I dont blame you. Maybe one day you will learn (hope youll go to university soon)
Haha, well, of course I still have a lot to learn in life, dude, that is what makes it so wonderful. :) But the truth is, only narrow minded and arrogant people think they not. ;)
Just keep tracking your winrate (with an acceptable minimum number of games). If it's not below 50%, there's no need to worry. If it is consistently below 50% after 40-50 games, you need to switch or optimise your deck. Changing something will make you feel better. If it drops after a streak, take a break. The mini meta might have changed, or you are tilted. It will shift again and you'll regain lost footing.
This is gonna sound kinda dickish but it's true for me. Once I started having real responsibilities in my life, i.e. work, school, it put into perspective how little this game actually matters. Makes it much easier to put it down and have greater appreciation for it when I really want to play.

Dude, are you serious? Do you even read my posts? I'm calling super-emotional people monkeys, not just emotional... Big difference, my dear friend. ;)
People are different so there's no clear cut answer like "control your emotions" that works for everyone. I tend to be very competitive in any game I play and take things way too seriously. I even stopped playing some games because I would end up tilting really hard. Basically my ego is big and when I lose I take it personally instead of just realizing it's a game and losing is a part of it.
In Hearthstone I've actually forced myself to keep playing when I'm losing just get used to it. You will lose a lot in a cardgame like this, so it's either dealing with it or stop playing.
This is so funny... Guys, instead of attacking me, you should learn to control yourselves. I'm serious about this. People like you are a danger to the rest of society, even to your beloved ones. Don't you see it? :(
And no, this is not flaming, nor trolling, this is the truth.
I'm an adult. I know who I am and am proud of my life. Hearthstone is just what I do in my leisure time. My success and failure in this game do not contribute or detract from my value as a human.
When you internalize that, a game will never make you upset again.
Meh... I control my emotions more than they control me. I think with my brain, not with my heart. Most people are so driven by sensations and emotions... They must suffer a lot and that puts a smile on my face. :)
If you were a German, born in the twenties of the 20th century, such a statement would qualify you for Hitlers SS.

I myself noticed that I can easily get tilted in the game and in real life also. And emotions will never help you in games or in real life, so you definitely should try to get rid of them.
Citing Kid Poker is pretty spot on for this thread. Well done! That video is great.

I never liked Hitler, but thank you, Hooghout, I guess... :P

It's not, because playing mindless aggro is not fun. :)

Fun biology fact, we are all monkeys...

I play Pillar men theme to my cards, for best possible rng. Sometimes they get muscle and burn.
