So the Adventure comes with 5 Wings of Content, 15 Packs of Cards, 1 Legendary, and 1 Golden Pack. While its clear the monetary value is very nice, i was wondering what the solo content was worth to a FTP player
Money:
15 packs = $20
15 packs, 5 wings of solo content, 1 Golden Pack, and 1 Legendary = $20
Clearly meant to be a deal compared to the normal pack deals.
FTP Gold/Time Value:
Fastest Grind Time: 24 days of 50 Gold from Quests and 100 Gold from winsTotal: 3,600 Gold
OR
Within the 30 days till release: 30 days of 50 Gold quests = 1,500 Gold 30 days of 70 Gold of wins = 2,100 Gold Total:3,600 Gold
OR
Just Quests: 70 days of 50 Gold quests = 3,500 Gold
Total Cost of Adventure:
(5 Wings) X (700 Gold) = 3,500 Gold
What are the Golden Pack and Legendary Worth?
Average Dust per Normal Pack = 100 Dust
Gold Pack:
Minimum Dust per Golden Pack = 300 Dust
(4 Gold Common + 1 Gold Rare)
300/100 = 3 packs worth of dust
100 X 3 = 300 Gold per Golden Pack
Legendary:
400 Dust per Legendary Card
400/100 = 4 packs worth of dust
100 X 10 = 400 Gold per Legendary
Reward Breakdown:
1,500 Gold = 15 Packs
300 Gold = Golden Pack
400 Gold = Legendary
Total = 2,200 Gold
So basically a total of 1,300 Gold goes to 5 Wings of Solo Content, which is 13 packs or aprox. 9 days of grinding 150 Gold per day.
Now my estimates are not perfect, so you my be getting a little bit more bang for your Gold especially since i was conservative on the Gold Pack dust worth, but i figured it would be helpful for people to have a better idea of what they were getting of they rolled minimums.
This bundle is the second one every one should purchase after the Welcome Bundle (if they want to, of course). While grinding for that much gold is really just not worth it

The first wing is free. So 2800 gold is needed only. With which you can buy 28 packs, but I think that the adventure is more valuable. You will have fun playing it and there are some fine rewards and if the legendary which will be golden is disenchantable its 100 times worth it.

How do you know it will be fun?
I'm just gonna answer for them, but probably because it's a break from the ridiculous meta that we're encountering right now. Or just because it's more content that isn't just grinding with and against the same decks constantly, so it's fun.

Because if you didn't have fun during the first wing then you wouldn't even be considering this and would be just moving to packs.
So we should assume that you had fun during the free wing and want to know if it's a good value to buy the rest.
Fun is in the eye of the player. I personally dont like the current build a deck while playing solo content. The old adventurers that gave you specific cards that could be played in other modes was better. I likely wont get the solo content if it is build a deck like Witchwood.

That model has been hugely successful because it provides replayability. I doubt they will move away from it

I dont doubt they will stick with it. But its a closed loop. You cant take things from it to other modes of the game.

keep in mind that the first wing is free. and that you cannot DE or craft the golden legendary.
I say it is not worth it unless you pay $$$
Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
You are also getting content for your money/gold. I swear, this community only focuses on rewards and giveaways.

Dust does not burn a hole in the jar. Be careful what you craft, especially before and right after a rotation.
Gold price is ok and PvE is the only thing I will play in Hearthstone. PvP is not enjoyable right now, maybe developers will fix that someday.
