i'm happy there isn't a new hero card. they had their time to shine and now let's get back to some hearthstone fundamentals for awhile. we don't need more infinite value generators.
1) No new hero playable, and I am very disappointed about that because Hunter, Shaman and warrior, even with the rotation, have the hero cards, so why the other classes haven't one? I personally expected the hero card playable for my favourite classes.
You do not know that, only like 10% of cards are revealed. This applies to rest of your comments.
Also, most people find Hagatha or Rafaam exciting. You probably cannot see the true potential, this is why you call them Kazakus or Elise.
And having the power level down is great, even if you think it is "bored".
I don't know. Given that this IS hearthstone's 5th anniversary, it seems fitting to me to be bringing everything back.
I mean we're flat out bringing a villain from every year (Boom from '14, Rafaam from '15, Madam from '16, Togwoggle from '17, Hagetha from '18) and thus seem to be bringing all of their old mechanics back either whole stock or with improvements. Twinspell being an Hagetha's enhanced Echo, Lackies being an improvement of Boom's spare parts, Rafaam having stolen the Monkey and using it, so on.
(@)$#() Adventures have returned and Arena is flat out running old sets.
I don't know. Seems like a good time to do something like this. I'm up for it.
It's also a nice way to get it all out o ftheir system. There, you got to fix and better all of the little problem ideas you had in the past into one cool expansion. After that we can make this like Mario Maker* and move on. at least before you get to trying to bring Inspire back. BLAH!
*=
When Mario Maker came out, Nintendo said that, along with it being an overall good idea, it served a different purpose internally. Flat out giving hte players the ultimate tools to make any 2d mario level that could be made means the company felt they can't go back to making another normal 2d mario game. From here on they are forced to innovate.
In that same realm, if you felt that you've made mistakes ro could've done past years better, a year of being able to go back and show how the new team would've handled those old mechanics both shows how the dev team has grown and provides a means to finally let go of that past and move on to new concepts afterwards.
How much that will be..we'll see. But just a thought.
Op says the fact "New expansion needs to be crazy good" but forgets that Witchwood was "crazy good" and shaped all the meta, even wild's meta and now it found its core cards in HOF and because of witchwood's power level, two complete expansions couldn't effect the meta, even basic - "BASIC" - cards have been nerfed, all the card's of 3 expansions' mana costs set according to Genn and Baku and he still wants Rise of Shadows to be "crazy good".
You've brought a paradox into existence. Congratulations.
Don't be mad man. It is only an opinion. You are adding to my opinion your conclusions and you are becoming mad. Sorry who said that Witchwood was crazy good? I didn't say this and by the way I hated Witchwood, I liked odd even but I didn't like the other stuffs. (and this is a pointless point because we are not talking about Witchwood)
And crazy good by the way doesn't mean crazy op. All the things that you wrote are your assumptions added to mine. Crazy good means with a lot of new stuffs and mechanisms.
So don't be mad. All these stuffs were things in your mind not in mine. Yes, it is a real paradox.
Yes, this expansion shows the flabbiness of previous expansions wasn't just a coincidence or a part of the master plan to tone down the powerlevel. It's just a failure of the design team, which now lasts for quite some time. They have no idea what they are doing, even from a business standpoint (why buy boring useless cards, just craft several coincidently good ones or play Wild?!). All recent cards are boring, flavorless, already seen, unoriginal, cheap, simple and random in a bad way. So many of them are copypasted from the old sets. Many other cards are so badly designed it's hard to believe. Several good cards from expansions have trivial uses, not those they were intended to have (no thematical synergies). What Team 5 is doing last several months feels, well... clueless and awkward, without a tact. Their decisions are very uncreative and disappointing. They lack talent and poorly judge what their audience want and think it's good. They show us they are capable to ruin something unruinable.
Scheme mechanic is the worst design in any card game ever. Fire the guy behind this idea.

If you hate the game/expansion so much, you could just not play it anymore. Or not even visit the forums. I don't understand why people who strongly dislike the game post here. I don't play Shadowverse anymore, for example, so I don't visit their forums and tell them how much their game sucks...I don't care about the game, so why would I post there??? Or even pay attention to what their new expansions are?
edit: Not trying to be an ass, just genuinely curious.
They publicly said that they were not releasing a new hero card. However, the constant value or powerful battle- cries they add to the game doesn't encourage good deck- building. I disagree with your statements, because you have not even a fraction of the cards at your disposal.
I see more hunter in wild than Big Priest. And I have decks built more for BP matches. And lately I've been running into oddball priests -- dragon or buff/spell.
I do agree that Blizzard isn't giving the non-hero classes (everybody but Shaman, Hunter, Warrior) hope, because so far cards and synergies look like those three classes will have a considerable edge.
Also, I still want the aggro/smorc toned down in standard. Druid and Warlock look to be board flooders, and Big Spell Mage is leaving.
No, I'm not bored, I play the game and have a lot of fun --- but with mammoth decks plus wild. Raven decks are either boring or non existent. I fear for the post rotation as there are only bad copies of old cards left.

That's been their entire point for the majority of the year of the raven. You clearly haven't been paying much attention.
Newsflash: If all cards are weak, all cards are strong at the same time. Blizzard, much like us, are waiting for all the stupidly broken year of the mammoth cards to rotate out, so that they can print more reasonable cards and have those actually see play. This is necessary to not subject this game to a massive powercreep in the long run.
seriously though, I disagree. Lackeys get me pumped as well as the Schemes which will inevitably be really powerful in a format without Genn/Baku and KaC. I don't see a problem with Rafaam, which is only playable in one class, turning said class's otherwise piddly cards into RANDOM LEGENDARIES the moment it's played. Hagatha Shudderwock is going to be a crazy deck.
Not to mention literally only 10 cards have been revealed. Well 13 now. Of the 135. And one-fifth of the legendaries.

Thank you very much man. But I don't care now. I will wait these expansion release. If I don't like even this expansion I will leave the game and the website. So I don't care now about my name.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
I can’t wait for new battlecries for rogue so I can make me shark loa work better

The only thing that makes me sad so far - no new tribe. I am waiting for plants since forever. Spirits would be a nice tribe, too...

"There is no spoon"
Wow man, you seem.....bored. Maybe they should add that as a new mechanic? Let me try....
Battlecry: Put a 0/1 bored complainer into play. Any attack modifier will equal zero, because of extreme boredm.

Cards released so far, outside of Hagatha, look boring and repetitive. Too early to say anything definitive... but I’m not optimistic

Of course by day 5-6 these will be the same people drooling over cards released.
