I never thought it would be this good, in fact I thought it would be extremely crappy.
This feature alone just made Hearthstone fun for me again as I always loved making decks, but I always lacked the skill to finish them. I always come up with like 20 cards, and then I'm stuck, but with this feature I can still make decent decks which makes the game really fun again.
I actually hoped that if I put a crappy legendary in my deck and use "complete my deck" then it would automatically make the best possible deck around this card. Unfortunately you have to leave as less empty deck slots as possible, otherwise it will just make you the highest winrate deck with has nothing to do with your crappy card. For example, I've put only 2 Pogo-Hoppers and the deckbuilder made me a standard Malygos Rogue without any synergy with pogos.
But overall it still is great, especially for people with limited collection, This new system does a really good job with making highest winrate decks possible with your collection.
Similar to above, it isn't flawless if you put in a few cards then hope it makes a deck around that. I put in Stampeding Roar, 2xPredatory Instincts and 2xIronhide Direhorn and it made me a Togwaggle-Hakkar deck (I don't have Azalina or Dreampetal Florist so maybe that's why it went with Hakkar?). That would be fine except it was completely unconnected with what I was clearly trying to do, and I had to go back and make the bulk of the deck myself.
Perhaps it is more useful when you have more than half the deck already made, and I'm sure the deck it made me would have had a higher win rate than the deck I ended up with. Regardless, it is very useful and a whole lot better than before.
Which is complete horseshit, like Green Jelly... for real??? I have a decent collection and can make a solid secret/Aluneth mage or Reno mage which are the most relevant in the wild meta... and even when I add few cards it fills the rest with part of the deck I just posted.. what?
i like deck building, but not impressed so far. I hope it gets better in the future.
(in standard it gives me your usual Aggro odd mage)
It's funny because I have the opposite problem of OP. I always have too much cards and I don't know wich one to delete. I would have a feature to put more than 30 cards and then the game tells me what to cut from the deck :D

Ok, thanks! It does make sense given the result! It is way more useless for me then, but maybe soon(tm).
Everyone playing the same deck now. Play against mage ? 100% odd mage. Play against hunter ? 100% beast hunter. Play against priest 100% dragon priest. Play against paladin? 100% odd paladin.
I like how every warrior player stopped playing quest warrior because the deck builder gave them rush warrior shit list. Thank you to the many rush warriors npcs I fought yesterday, please don't go back to quest, listen to your deck builder :)
Maybe things will change over time but for now, this improved deck builder just made my Hearthstone experience more boring. It's not synergy based AT ALL. whatever you put in your deck it will complete with tier 1.
Yup! Quite impressed with how this works in standard.
You do need a reasonable “start” to your deck before it truly catches on the direction you want to go in. But if you fill 50%+ of the deck, it’s really impressive. Hats off.

So just like before ? Hunters always played Midrange Beast after spellstone/Hunter's Mark nerfs, Paladins is always Odd Paladin since Equality nerf etc.
Also blank autocomplete on Warrior gives Quest Odd Warrior not Tempo Rush Warrior.

Yeah, even though I hoped less people would ask for deckcodes in twitch chat... I guess pros are still faster countering Blizzard optimal deckrecepies.
And yes, i also wonder if it still would be the best possible deck , if the rest of the suggested deck almost has no synergy with them... ( like i did with Mechan o Egg, and The deckbuilder made a secret Paladin... now those eggs are most likely dead draws.)
I would have preferred if they offered the old "complete my deck" algorhythm as an alternative. I use the feature sometimes with friends to have some fun matches. Considering that I only play Wild I haven't been influenced yet, but if they do implement it in Wild as well, I really hope we can choose between "net-decking" and "funny garbage".
I am amazed how good it is in making good budget decks for limited collection. On my Asian server (European is one for which I buy stuff. American is F2P mostly for arenas, Asian - almost never touch it, mainly loging in only to get log in rewards, use arena tickets, etc, rarely bother to do usual dailies)
And there it makes actually smart decks. After I crafted baku in Asia it gave reasonable odd decks for all classes where it makes sense. It also made a reasonable mech zoo and midrange hunter. It is a great tool for new players.

People are very much underestimating rush warrior.

No salt. Patients lol Just a little.
I enjoy.

I’m impressed by it, I managed to beat a “midrange” hunter with an autocomplete miracle priest which included chillwind yeti

Does it work in wild? I’d say it doesn’t (maybe I missed an announcement about not supporting wild). On an empty deck it gives me:
### Custom Mage
# Class: Mage
# Format: Wild
#
# 2x (1) Daring Fire-Eater
# 2x (1) Mecharoo
# 2x (1) Zombie Chow
# 2x (2) Belligerent Gnome
# 1x (2) Bloodmage Thalnos
# 1x (2) Flamecannon
# 2x (2) Plated Beetle
# 2x (3) Fungal Enchanter
# 1x (3) Lone Champion
# 1x (3) Volcanic Potion
# 2x (4) Animated Armor
# 2x (4) Fireball
# 2x (5) Green Jelly
# 1x (6) Aluneth
# 1x (6) Arcane Dynamo
# 1x (6) Blizzard
# 2x (7) Flamestrike
# 1x (8) Splitting Festeroot
# 2x (8) Violet Wurm

pretty sure it's bugged in wild

Love the tribes.

I wonder if this feature can be used to get legendary rank -
1. check autocomplete for each class.
2. bulid deck, which counteers the most of them.
3. mulligan with assumption, that your opponent has autocompleted deck.
