It looked like some people managed to buy the preorder got their legendary bonuses leaked before Blizzard took down the shop to fix it. I saw someone here that opened a 8 mana spell/quest for Warrior, apparently.
Anyone else here or elsewhere (reddit/discord) knows of any other cards that were awarded to players sooner than intended?
From what I remember most of the cards people got were either old legendaries, or uncollectible ones from singleplayer mode. A few examples being the Tess Greymane hero, or the Anomaly quest from tavern brawl.
They just messed up the indexing for the cards, because the new cards wheren`t in the game yet and you shouldn`t get the rewards until launch, so it just gave people random cards pointed instead of the new ones.
Does someone know if a player made a video of a game, where he/she uses the aforementioned uncollectable cards? I want to see how unprepared their opponents were for the unusual encounter.
I saw a warrior legendary...dr. boom...effect was giving 5 bots to you opp. deck....art was like dr. doom from fantastic 4....if i find it i'll post it here
This never happened. It was a client issue giving people non-collectible cards already present in the game data.
In order for them to give you, and show you, a card, it must be in the data. There is no way Blizzard is stupid enough to put all the new cards in the client data, that I can very easily datamine, as it would ruin all the planned card reveals. Even just putting a few cards in there would be a massive mistake.
The cards always get patched in to game data right before the expansion launches, though this time around it will be before the pre-release weekend. At that point, all the cards have been revealed.

remarkable how such bugs happen each time they update HS. dont they have ppl to test these things?

if people were getting new legendaries they would be all over internet now and probably on the first page of this site as well
also the new set is not yet included in the client we have right now so there is no physical possibility for people to get new cards
the cards people were getting were from older expansions
lol yea. somebody was able to play on ladder with a Darius Crowley hero card. small indie company.
I don't recall this ever happening before.
