I would describe myself as a very fair player with a big attituted forwads sportsmanship. For my understanding you say Good Game after a game! But I got many friendrequests after a game where i have been asked "why bm?", and i always tell those dudes "hey there once was a time in competetive games where you said good game afterwards. In the gaming scene now widely knowns as gg". Sometimes I am able to tell them that, but most of the time I just ask "what do you think was bm?" and they say some realy mean things.
So guys, do you think a Good-Game-Emote after a normal game, with no roping or overkilling or such things is bad mannering?
You think it is a nice greeting at the start, they think it is mockery; you think it is a compliment of their play or surprise over your top deck, they think it is BM; you think it is gg at the end, they think you are rubbing it in.

Children's card game, what can I tell you. /s
This.
I have a feeling people get more and more salty in this community. It wasn't like this in the begining. The first time i hit legend was with a budget deck and people added me cause they wanted to whish me luck with such a deck. Most of my friends on the fl are those ppl.
My understanding is that the "well played" emote is good manners at the end of the game, even if it was one-sided.
I do feel it as BM when someone goes "Thanks" when winning - as if they meant "thanks for the easy win, loser" (I know they don't have to mean that). I also know I sometimes want to press "well played" and click "thanks" by mistake, so it can be a miss-click.
If it's a good, drawn-out game and the opponent doesn't "gg" or goes "thanks", it feels a bit sad.
That's just my point of view. Thumbs up to Banur's comment.
Why is being nice while playing Hearthstone so important for so many people? I use to spam emotes all the time and I don't care if some strangers I would probably never interact again like me or not. I really don't understand you...
I use "Thank you" or "Well played" after every game, no matter If I win or lose. I don't think it's BM'ing, I think it as literally "thanks for the game, well played, though I might have won this time"

Because everyone should try to make world a better place and it doesn't matter if the person you interacting with is next to you or on the other side of the Earth or whether you will ever meet them again or not...

And why should I care about the rest of the world? :/
I spamm emotes like a boss and i do not care what the other player thinks. Afterall, his game with me and me grasing him with my emotes, is the biggest thing he will experience in his mongrel life! >:D MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I really wish I could add inflection to my emotes. Sometimes (after my opponent has BMed me throughout the game or if they're playing Big Priest in Wild ;) I GG with some sass. Most of the time I genuinely mean GG, but there's no way to let my opponent know that.

I don't think you really spam emotes, do you ?
If I see someone spamming emotes my first thoughts are: this guy must be 12 years old. No f***ing wonder he plays $kill$tone, a children's card game.

Didn't know only teenagers can behave as assholes. XD
I generally look at it depending on when the "gg" is emoted.
If you do it before you kill your opponent, as if you just drew lethal, i'd consider it BM. If you do it after you've already killed them in that phase out stage, i'd consider it to be decent manners.
But like... Who actually get so frustrated that they will friend request the opponent and tear them down for pressing a botton?

Why should i force myself to stay sportmanlike and serious in my games too? Screw dat, seems like a worthless hassle! SPAM EMOTES TILL HELL FREEZES OVER!
Hey folks,

Poll way too simplistic.
It all depends on the game whether it is BM or not. It is not an either/or question.
For example a really 1-sided game is never a “good game”.
Also, the game lacks an actual emote for this, but assuming you mean “Well Played”, which puts a whole new array of BM possibilities into the mix.
" do you think a Good-Game-Emote after a normal game, with no roping or overkilling or such things"
This...
Depends on situation. Some people use it to BM others don't...

Depends if you have lost or won.
Losing: it is nice to say gg.
Winning: wait and say gg ONLY after opponents says gg first, otherwise it can be viewed as bm.
People get mad over emotes.

If that was a one-sided game or my opponent being saved by RNG or myself being very unlucky, having a ''well played'' as I lose tilts me.
The fuk do you mean well played ? The game was garbage and RNG made me lose, there is no such thing as ''well played'' here.
Because everyone should try to make world a better place and it doesn't matter if the person you interacting with is next to you or on the other side of the Earth or whether you will ever meet them again or not...

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
I say "well played" when I kill my enemy, because I played well.
If I lose then it means my opponent got lucky all the time, and if he says "well played" that means BM for sure.
