You can craft cards from old adventures that you've never bought???
News to me folks
You can craft any card of any expansion/adventure
Wow, I missed that memo somehow, when did they implement that?
You can shitpost on reddit dude, not the place for that
Haha, really? I genuinely didn't know that people could craft stuff from adventures, I even bought some adventures on alt accounts for playing in wild. Seriously had no idea :-/

Been playing for nearly 6 years man, I can see why you would think I'm trolling as I seriously should know this, just missed it somehow. Anyways, either way, no need for it to go on and on, my bad :-)

Yeah, I've seen them there, but I thought that was just because I had purchased the adventures. I've dusted a good few cards from the old adventures, as I don't play wild. Gotta admit, I'm kinda proud of Blizz for that one, woulda figured that they'd leave them there to be bought forever.

if you want to have fun and you care about the legendarys buy them ,if you dont realy care about the legendarys just craft the cards that you want (they are craftable bdw)
I was in the same boat about 3 years ago, wild looked really interesting and the idea of buying a bunch of packs to catch up on the current expansions (adventures were going away) seemed like a lot. The adventures are the best bang for you’re buck and I definitely don’t regret investing in wild. After all the entire game will be wild at some point assuming of course you’re in for longevity. Standard was really expensive to catch up and so I invested some money into the adventures and got some really nice legends that are still relevant in wild to this day.
Now that I’ve been playing wild for a while I causually make it to 10 (mostly due to not having a lot of time to play currently) I am slowly getting back into standard as well. I’ve made so much progress in wild and saved gold and dust to be able to simply use gold on new expansion packs and occasionally visit standard when I wanna switch it up a little.
ive really enjoyed this decision, it has given me a whole new understanding and appreciation of the game. Wild is super flexible and while at times certain cards seem overpowered, blizz has shown interest in adjusting the format as well as supporting it in esports. There is progress to be made. But simply saying an entire mode is cancer or toxic is just childish and inaccurate.
Yes because if you create specific cards you will waste a lot of dust, it is better to use that powder in future expansions and decks. It is also very fun PVE.
I guess it’s worth bringing up, and I forgot to add it in my wall of text. but you can also get a good idea of the decent wild cards from the crafting guide thread
I know I'm late to the party, but I've really enjoyed the adventures. As a budget player, I want to feel like I'm "getting" something in return when I pay money. The adventures certainly fit that bill... it adds permanent content to your HS experience and the heroic modes are just as frustrating (and satisfying when you eventually beat them) as the ladder. Also, don't forget to do the class challenges, which are an under-rated part of the adventures.
Sometimes I'll find myself going back through the adventures to replay them just for kicks. I'm currently trying to complete an "ultimate" dungeon run on normal mode. Here's how that works. 1) Build any number of decks from your allocation of 18 decks. 2) start on mission #1 of Naxxramas. 3) Try to play all the way through Naxx, Blackrock, explorers, Karazhan, Frozen throne, dungeon run (any class), monster hunt (any class AND the finale), and rumble run (any class) without losing once. Skip Boomsday since those solutions never change. You can use any of your decks as you progress, but you can't change your decks after you start Naxxramas. If you lose, modify your suite of decks and start all over at Naxxramas.
Well I want to play more wild and the cards in the adventures are some that I need so I just want to know if it's worth buying them to get the cards to play wild decks.
Unless you have like ALL cards in the world - dont touch wild - it's pure cancer :P And the wild meta is just TOXIC
Wild player here, would not call the format “Toxic” at all. That’s typical standard rhetoric
I started playing this game at the end of the Year of the Mammoth, too. Even being clueless at the time, my wish was one day to play Wild, use all cards, experience old powerful, interesting and fun looking archetypes... Instead of buying 7 packs, I bought the 1st wing of Kharazan with my first 700 gold. :)
In the November I felt I consolidated my Standard collection and that I can play numerous meta decks. It was the moment to shyfully start playing some Wild.
I immediately bought all adventures, after realising many cards are still used, on average even more than those from other 4 expansions. Adventures are a superb base for everybody willing to play Wild. ...Never regret it!
You get several important staple legendaries, a bunch of good low rarity cards, SP content and a lot of dust if you are willing to DE obsolete stuff.
Of course, LoE is the best one, but even BRM is worth it for Emperor and many useful low rarity cards.
The single player content is top notch. I'm talking about the Heroic mode. Currently trying to beat Naxx with some meta decks (50% completed).
Until now the only other Wild legendary I crafted is Patches, and currently I'm able to play Exodia Mage, Pirate Warrior, Dragon Priests, Aggro Kingsbane, Odd Warrior, Aggro Shaman, Odd and Mill Rouge and Secret Hunter... I miss 1-2 cards for other decks; for heavy control Warlocks and such I miss 2-4 legendaries, epics, but I'll get those with time. Will craft more after the rotation. I'm not that competitive in Wild (yet), rank: 10-5 (the most fun: 15-10); what I want is to experience different decks.
It's not hard to start playing Wild. One can find at least one deck for himself. A lot of the same cards are used across the board as staples.
I was afraid of Wild. People talking how it's toxic, broken, cancer... After playing for several months, I barely have encountered any herathbrakingly stupid thing (Barnes as some exception; maybe they change this guy and I get 1600 dust). Strangely, there are more of those annoyances in Standard as there is no enough tools to interact. Here you can freeze, burn, transform, sap, outrace more easily Big Priest. If decks in Wild are so crazy powerful, broken and OP (but aren't, because it's relative), then your deck is as well. You can't feel the difference. It's like heavyweight, one punch is enough, but both players are able to do it. In Wild you get used to the high power (high, only in confrontation with Standard) and start to respect and even adore it.
I bought them when I came back to the game after my hiatus. The cards are great for Wild and the game play is fun. Not to mention unlocking the cardbacks to show your accomplishments is fun to do as well. Also, the adventures can give you more of an idea of how to craft, play, and draft the game.
I bought them all retrospectively, except Kara which i bought with gold when it was in standard (i started playing during WotOG). No regrets here, I enjoyed the solo content and i also have more possibilities in Wild. Just buy it. Crafting those cards is bad idea, in my opinion.
When the cards came out.

Yes, but the free dust from the other legendaries is still way more valuable the $25 worth of packs normally.

I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
Solo Adventures are totally worth it in card quality, and general value.
