I will be glad to maybe like the paladin class a bit more after Righteous protector, spikeridged steed, sunkeeper tarim, Baku, and genn rotate out :). I never really got into the class because of these annoying af cards
It was a great class back in the day, when control decks just needed to wipe the board twice and that was aggro out of steam (as it should be), with 2 or 3 heavy minions to close out the game. I really hope they're setting up another Healadin for you to have a go of, I too need to get some wins with Paladin for my golden portrait, but have steered clear with the trash that's being used now.
Btw, have you tried RegisKilblin's OTK Chillblade Pally? Not a great winrate, but super fun :-)

The entire ungoro set. A ton of high value taunt cards, or discover cards that slow down the game in an annoying way. Bye shadow visions and primordial glyph.
Also looking forward to the departure of the board clear spam we've seen become the norm.

I respectfully disagree, the top tier deck is an aggro deck, I've often cleared the board on Odd Pally 6 times and still it comes back. It's ridiculous.
I think they need to find the balance again. When control decks just needed 4 clears in their deck, to ensure they draw a couple. After 2 board clears, aggro would have to have done sufficient damage that the next 1 or 2 topdecks can seal out the victory, otherwise they're done. How it should be imo :-)

Don't understand why Legendary weapons keep getting lumped into this rotation discussion.
The nerf killed Kingsbane and Druid sucks at the moment, so Skull of the Man'ari is the only one of them that actually sees any real play. And while it's still run sometimes to try and cheat out Voidlords, it's a ton less popular than it used to be in the days when Cubelock ruled the meta.
Even in the best case scenario, correct me if I'm wrong, but how many of these cards have ever been viable at the same time again? Two, three tops? Aluneth started reading as "kill yourself into Fatigue" around Boomsday, and it's never recovered since.
And QUESTS?
Quest ROGUE, sure! Every other quest is complete garbage and only Quest Warrior actually sees play to supplement Odd Warrior, and given that some Odd Warriors find success without it, that right there is proof that the issue is Odd Warrior. Not the quest.
And as usual, I'm going to remind people creaming their pants over infinite value DKs no longer being in the meta that Hagatha the Witch and Dr. Boom, Mad Genius are still going to be in the meta. Not that either of those cards do quite as much as Rexxar, but they are very much infinite value cards. Or close to it.
The interesting thing is that I can't think of an archetype that isn't gutted by these losses.
I've tried putting some decks together from the latest three sets and it's really damn hard. I feel like the last year of cards were support for the previous year, and honestly I'm not sure they stand on their own.
Hunter might survive. A mech deck probably makes it....but huge swathes of Elementals and Beasts are going and so very many tool cards on top of the DKs and Quests.
I think I know what my first deck is, but even that is losing five or six cards...
Shaman is losing quite a lot, too. With Unstable Evolution and Kalimos two of the major cards in one of the few still existing shaman decks are rotating. Another deck will be missing the spellstone and Snowfury Giants, so that will be gone, too.
So no, they will not stay the same. Even though they are in a tough spot right now anyways, so none of their cards are as polarizing as for other classes.
Healing Rain and Volcano are probably the two most prominent losses for any kind of slow Shaman list. I fail to see how those should be viable (as if they've ever been...) since in case of doubt you'd be reliant on Lightning Storm highrolls again. Shudderwock is losing a good chunk (just check the usual Elemental lists) of battlecry support as well.
The only hope I have left is for Aggro/Burn Shaman. The deck is already semi-viable, it just needs a POWERFUL 1-drop (maybe a 2-drop too, as Menacing Nimbus doesn't really belong here). Since there are Earthen Might and Elementary Reaction my idea would be: 1 mana X/X, Elemental tag without Overload. Maybe something more playable than Dust Devil but less broken than Tunnel Trogg. With Flametongue Totem being nerfed they don't have to fear the Shaman early game becoming overpowered again. Ah well, let's wait for the rotation!
I just hate the playstyle, and the fact that for the past 4 or 5 years there's barely ever been a break from aggro being tier 1.
I understand that aggro decks are cheap to make and give new players the chance to play with competitive decks, but I just wish they weren't always so competitive. I'm not talking about "Pay to Win" or anything, but it would be nice if those of us who have been round since the beginning, who've amassed a good collection would have the ability to make those decks which are that bit better due to the quality of the cards, earned through dedication to the game.

Paladin will find its aggro deck and be T1, rogue will mantain its tempo variant with miracle stuff warlock will somehow be relevant, warrior is the only question. without baku can it be a decent class without spending 20k dust on a deck?

I will miss Elise the Trailblazer
Rogue will somehow still be relevant, and after seeing a bunch of awesome new control tools for Paladin, I'm sure Aggro Paladin will be tier 1.
Oh and Divine Spirit/Inner Fire Priest will be tier 2 because obviously.

So few votes for cube. Lol, how soon we forget.

Rexxar, Hunter Spellstone, and Baku. But Rexxar especially.
Sick of his shit.
Saying Baku, because of Odd Paladin and Residentsleeper Warrior
Will really miss Dire Mole > Cracling Razormaw > BearShark > Flanking strike.
Not really.
Glad to see Voidlord go. And all of the other cards as well. Can't believe someone said they will miss Odd Pally. You are the plague.
Lich King is probably the only card that will be missed. Well designed and useful.
i hate genn & baku as concepts, not necessarily the card itself
that prize goes to jaina, if i'm not massively ahead on board or can kill her the next turn or 2 i usually don't even bother
what's the point? just a massive waste of time playing out a game you're gonna lose 9 out of 10

No one will miss you Fuck Lich Jaina
Whenever Blizzard makes good control tools, they're usually abused by aggro decks.
