I don't mind paying for the new wizbang card (and the golden pack) but do I have to complete the adventure? I am not very fond of those :D
There is always that one guy....
I know. I never completed any of the monster hunt, dungeon run or rastakhan rumble. Not sure if there is a connection or a bug or something, but I get the monster hunt/dungeon run quests at an abnormal rate (about once a week) resulting in a lot of packs. On the other hand I almost never get the 80g quest or the watch and learn one. Might be just variance, but it's pretty fkn extreme if so.
I always payed real money for this solo content (adventures), and it always was worthed, even for the worst one - Karazhan.
Here, you get 15 packs + 1 golden packs + 2 cadr backs, golden legend that enable preconstructed deck, which is most important if don;t want buy many packs. I mean, c'mon. 20$ for adventure is always a good deal.
People, who speak about "a good deal", don't take into account that all the gold will be spent on packs at the BEGINNING of expansion. And the adventure comes out the month after. So, if you want to play the adventure, instead of saving gold for the future expansion, you have to save gold for the adventure and OVERPAY GOLD FOR THE PACKS YOU ALREADY DON'T NEED! So, what have we got here? You pay for the packs at the beginning of the expansion and then, if you want to play the adventure (that was free in the previous year) you have to pay gold or real money and overpay for the useless packs.
I really don't get these Bli$$ard fanboys here, approving their price policy. OMG guys, are you out of your minds? I see so much hype in the news about the new year. Do you, guys, really think that Bli$$ard listens to the community? The community demanded to make the game cheaper. Just read the thread here with Dean Ayala's question and Hearthpwn's community answers - http://www.hearthpwn.com/news/6420-dean-ayala-asks-what-would-get-you-back-into
What on earth is wrong with kids these days huh??!?!?!?!??
You guys are really getting angry that a company wants to make money? A company that's good enough to give a free option? Do your quest everyday and you'll be able to get the content and the cards in a few weeks, easy, and FREE. Hearthstone isn't a job, you don't deserve payment for playing it (unless you promote it somehow of course).
But no, you want it for free and you don't want to wait, cos you're spoiled little children who get everything handed to you, so that's what you've come to expect.
Personally, I'll just drop in the 20 euro cos I would prefer the game to survive and for the hearthstone dev team to have as much motivation to do the best job they can.
Which btw, I think all the new changes hat are FINALLY coming are awesome. Who woulda thunk that the absence of Ben Brode might be a good thing?!?!?
p.s. Yes, I'm an asshole :-p

What Bli$$ard does? It does the opposite.
THANK YOU!
People need to start being a little objective cause it’s the same amount of work blizz did before for adventures, yet this time you get a fraction of what’d you’d get in old adventures for the same price. And if 3 packs per wing is not “greed”, as someone has stated before, then i have no idea what is.

If you don’t like it then don’t spend your money or gold on it. Period. I’m sick of all these threads bitching about greed or Baku & Genn being HoF early and how that’s lazy.
In actuality they already saw play in wild so this doesn’t change that fact.
If you don’t like the changes , don’t play and leave the toxicity out of the community
I don't understand why people make these threads... it

People want everything for free... that's how everyone is nowadays I guess

Are you serious dude? You think people are morons that can't count? I mean seriously. Everyone know that adventure will be releas after one month when expansion hit. What I say is that good deal is when you buy adventure for the real money. I've always thought tgat spend 700 gold per wings is a lot cos I don't play that much on the daily basis to earn that much gold. It's easy. Just spend this 20 bucks and be happy.
Btw - you said that packs that you get from adventure mod are useless. Don't think that will be the case for most of people. Nowadays peopel always want shit for free, only for free, otherwise it become problem. It's preposterous.
I will buy it. I don't think it's too expensive for what you get - you can't compare it with the old adventures, which gave you cards and legendaries, because you get a whole new expansion on top of that. And if you compare it, at least mention, that the old adventures YOU HAD TO BUY, cuz the cards from them were OP on so many levels it's not even funny and you HAD to own them. Now, you can skip the purchase if you don't care about the "adventure" PvE experience (I will try to not get my hopes up, 2018 was trash on that (and many other fronts), when compared to Dungeon runs).
#my2cents
Exactly. Which is probably another reason Blizzard dropped the old xpac-adv-xpax cycle since F2P people complained about being forced to buy those adventures in order to keep up with other players. That is, apart from the fact that Naxxramas and the like didn't create enough income when compared to regular expansions. People seem to overlook that you might just lose out on the new adventure without losing anything of worth. I mean, except for the actual content, the golden classic pack, the golden legendary...
You guys are missing the point. Now, we haven't seen this content, but my hunch is that this is more of a standalone game than it is a little side adventure thinly wrapped around some mini-set-release.
Basically, you are playing $20 for a new game. If any of you have played Slay The Spire, you can see how much potential there is for solo-content rogue-like card game (I highly recommend that game if you haven't). And if you still can't stomach $20, you get 16 card packs, so really you are paying something like $5 for a new game. Are we really that upset by $5?
And don't be spoiled brats here. Every single single-player content released by Blizzard so far has been entirely free. So, now that they are expending big-time development on their solo-content, you still expect it to be free? Which it still can be, since you can just pay gold for it anyway.
They could make expansion just like in the old times when you paid 700g/wing or 20$/all and you get 40-50 cards and 7-10 legends in this.
And theeeen you got full expansion set and you can easy make all decks.
Ofc there is no way because they want you to spend 250$ for packs for get full set.
Miss old time
Why not think of it like this? It is 1,200 gold for the adventure. And that's without accounting for a golden pack.
Seems reasonable.
You think that's bad, the other day I bought a movie ticket for $15. Like, seriously! One little paper scrap for $15? What a ripoff!
Do i get full dust refund from all rotated cards(journey to ungoro, frozen throne, kobolds)?
No. You just get refunded for HOF'd cards and all the odd/even getting rotated early.

700g per wing is nothing - Just as in the old days - the reward tho is not as good tho

He does not, because he can't cry about it if he did.
Someone alert the Activision Blizzard board of directors, stat!
