My issue with this system is that there's nothing unique about the adventure rewards. If I wanted an adventure, I'd play a more immersive game than Hearthstone. If you want 2800 gold or $20 for the adventure, make the adventure rewards something meaningful, something more than what the average player purchasing packs at 100g each receives. I'm not spending my hard-earned money or precious time on something every other Tom, Dick and Harry already has.
as a semi casual player ive gotten 11k gold from 0 since the start of rastakan... if youre complaining about spending gold on content and packs idk what to tell u lmao
I will buy it. I don't think it's too expensive for what you get - you can't compare it with the old adventures, which gave you cards and legendaries, because you get a whole new expansion on top of that. And if you compare it, at least mention, that the old adventures YOU HAD TO BUY, cuz the cards from them were OP on so many levels it's not even funny and you HAD to own them. Now, you can skip the purchase if you don't care about the "adventure" PvE experience (I will try to not get my hopes up, 2018 was trash on that (and many other fronts), when compared to Dungeon runs).

I don't mind paying for the new wizbang card (and the golden pack) but do I have to complete the adventure? I am not very fond of those :D
By how it sounds, you get the golden version for 'owning' all of the wings. So it sounds like youcan buy the wings, not touch them, and get the card.
By how it sounds, this isn't a case of buying packs for gold. This is flat out anti-P2W as, if you wnat power, you are best off buying packs like normal. The ONLY *ONLY* reason to buy this is because you want the PvE content. And I think that's the point. You are BUYING the adventures themselves, not the cards within them.
The cards are, effectively, a discount. For example, getting 3 packs for 700 gold is the same as buying a wing for 400 gold, then buying 3 packs from the store. So assuming you were going to spend the gold on packs anyway...
2800 gold for 12 packs and 1 golden pack (remember both the first wing is free along with the 3 packs from it).
If 1 pack is, on average, 100 dust which makes 100 gold = 100 dust (estimate.. Iknow it's like 102 dust or so), 1 golden pack is 300 dust at minimum (since it's one pack It's probably safe to stick to the most likely option on this one). So it's effectively similar to 3 packs.
So effectively 15 packs which is worth 1500 gold back for the 2800 gold you spend,
Which means you are effectively buying the PvE content for 1300 gold.
So really you can drop all of the fussings and think of it like this: Will this new Adventure system be worth 1300 gold. If not, then don't buy it and just buy packs. If so then buy it and buy 15 less packs in whatever expansion buying plans you have.
I don’t get all the fanboys defending blizzard here.
Take a simple look at the old adventures: it was 700g for a wing where you would get a legendary and 12 other exclusive cards.
Now, this ain’t coming back, but come on, 3 packs? That’s incredibly greedy; at least 5 would be ok, compare the costs and stop fanboying for no reason whatsoever.
Oh and let’s not even mention how much cooler was to discover a boss’ weakness and build a deck of your own instead of going no-brain-whatsoever into the battles with a random deck given by blizzard (and well, if your deck happens to be weak against a certain boss, good luck mate!)
Fun costs money. Mostly Activision wants your money so that is the cost. But if you are paying gold it's free so nothing to whine about. I don't know where greed comes in when you are talking about buying the adventure with gold as that gold isn't purchased but gained from quests and winning matches. Even with that; 700g a week for each wing doesn't take a long time to gain. Quests make it easy as they are generous with gold for the daily quests. Explain how Blizzard is greedy by offering a free option!
because spending 2800 gold for 15 packs is a crap deal

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
Stop using the word greedy... you aren't using it right. You can pay with gold, and gold is free, You can do the entire adventure for $0. Blizzard will not be making a penny off of you. Thus, by definition, they are not being greedy. You may argue all you want that it's a bad deal. I'm not stating whether I think it's a good deal or a bad deal. But they aren't being greedy.
Cry babies just stfu if you dont like it dont buy it if you hate hs quit it.Also those morons that say "oh 20 dollars for looy boxes how greedy" its a fcking card game all card games works like this and way more greedier in yugioh mtg and pokemon tcgs you are supposed to play 100+dollara just for a few cards or even for 1 copy of a card that its need atleast 3 times in decks of 40 to 60 cards. So like get real hs is cheap FOR A CARD GAME and not close to be greedy at all and if you f2p feelings got hurt just leave no one cares
Yeah I don't think it's even that bad for 2800 Gold though - It sounds like they're really committing some major time and resources to this. Trump said it was basically Dungeon Run + and he knows details about it that we don't.
From a purely pack standpoint it's 15 packs + a golden pack (which should maybe be worth 500 gold?) Call that 2000, so then you're paying 800 gold for the content.
From a money standpoint the packs are worth about $20 sure so there it is kind of like the content is free, but then you're also paying for it.
Idk I think it's a decent value either way and if you don't want to pay for it then that's you're prerogative. Either way people will be voting with their wallets and then Blizzard will take that information and roll with it.
You do realize those packs come with actual content, right?
At least you get rewards! There has been no decent rewards for solo since Kotf.,

Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

The content best be fucking good or people are going to go nuts.
Without unique card rewards like old adventures the content has to be so good we forget to care, none of this rumble run bs

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.
For 20 bucks it is a pretty good deal.

2800 gold is nothing - 20 days of game

The packs are just a bonus, you're paying for the single-player content. If you don't want the single-player content, don't buy it
