Against the TOS yes, but with the very few people playing Wild the bots add lots of opponents so I am going to assume that Blizzard allows them to stay to keep Wild viable. Without the bots and how many bots you see in Wild there would be long wait times to find an actual human opponent. I never see them in standard. In wild they are in ladder and in casual and often in both... well in ladder till you hit 15 you don't really see them again. Blame Blizzard for leaving them in and for the health of the game as bad as it actually is for the game. No one wants to play against bots. I would even say that the bots are the creation of Blizzard but the AI isn't good enough for it to be a Blizzard as they make some terrible choices like equipping a weapon then hitting hero power for the dagger.
They are in at least half of my casual games in standard, likely more.

Well then your MMR is very low as I never see them in standard and only in Wild.

yes, because I auto concede against Hunters, Mind Blast Priests, and these new Basic Bots. It's Casual right? I should be able to concede any match I don't want to play. No one is FORCING me to play against them. At least, that's what I'm told whenever I bring up netdecks in casual.
Can't have it both ways, folks.

That is why your MMR is low and you face bots in standard. MMR matters and that's a lot of losses. Don't want bots then start playing to win.

This isn't a problem of "Kaladin concedes too much and therefore has too low of an MMR, it's his fault he faces bots." It's a problem of "bots are against the TOS and should never been seen in the first place, regardless of someone's MMR."

Right but they are there and Blizzard isn't doing anything about them so to avoid them play better instead of losing most of your games so you can raise your MMR and actually face real opponents and have fun playing the game as intended. So it is your fault given the situation as it is. If you want something done then take up a campaign to get Blizzard to do something about the bots till then you will always face them playing the bad way you do. See I can go into standard and play casual and never see a bot cause my MMR is high enough to avoid players like you and bots and actually enjoy the game and the challenge of it that I enjoy. It is a game. Should be challenging. Instead of spending day shere saying the same thing over and over go take it up with Blizzard so that change can happen. This thread has gone too far and on too long and it is just you arguing with everyone, at this point. I wish the mods would step up and close it already as we are all tired of seeing it.
Banning the bots in Wild casual would require that the power(s) that be acknowledge Wild as a format people want to or already do like. So not very likely to happen anytime soon.
Barring a change of hands or something equally unlikely, Wild will remain as-is.
So I have been wondering about the whole bot thing. My question is this: If the bots are not a creation of Blizzard to give real players some one to play when not many real players are on, could a bot play a bot? (taking tin foil hat off now)
I love the comments from people saying hilarious stuff like: "Herp! Bots is against der ToS, so Blizzard should enforce der ToS, innit! Derp!"
It's almost like these people think Blizzard is literally "allowing" bots in the game or something. XD Do you not realise that Blizzard bans bots when they find them. How do they find them? They require players to report them. If you're doing that, then job done. Well done. Why are you here complaining about it now? Complaining about them on this forums is utterly pointless. What exactly are you expecting people to do? Or is this just an attention-seeking attempt to demand people agree with you or something?
Bots don't ruin the game in Hearthstone like they do in other games. Bots are against the ToS, so are not allowed and shouldn't be there. News flash: This isn't news to anyone... But they are there. Because that's life. Deal with it: report them and move on. Nobody (other than gold farmers) actually "supports" bots. So stop pretending they do as a means just to argue with them as if you have some sort of moral high ground. That's just dumb.
Oh you're still here trying to argue alone? That's sad.
Who said I wasn't reporting them? It's funny how you say complaining about them on the forums is pointless and yet, here you are, trying to force your opinion down everyone's throat on the forums and none asked for it, it's not a topic to discuss all the intracacies of bots. Which one is more pointless you think?
I don't have the full battletag because they never accept my friend request so I just note their name down in a text doc and when I have like 5-6 I send it to the customers service.
Oh you're still here trying to argue alone? That's sad.
You're saying that you're nobody? Well, you said it. Otherwise, if you're so against arguing, why are you still responding so over-defensively and argumentatively?
Who said I wasn't reporting them?
Nobody. What's your point?

You literally created a post complaining about bots, and now are trying to whine because people engaged in conversation about it and just because they don't agree with your narrow-minded little views, you're having a hissy fit... If you didn't want to discuss the topic, then don't create the thread. For the record, simply stating an opinion of my own and disagreeing with someone else's is not "forcing it down someone's throat". I suppose you probably think that someone stating their religion is forcing it down your throat too. Take your foot off the sensitivity pedal there, squirrel. If it triggers you so much, ask a moderator to lock / delete this thread if you like. You're perfectly within your rights to do so. What you can't do, however, is attempt to police who is allowed to have what opinion on it. Alternatively, if my posts offend you so much, feel free to block me. I don't take offense quite so easily.
You seem to have a serious superiority complex.
Ad hominem attacks are a fairly sure sign that you have no real argument and that you are simply emotionally upset that someone dare disagree with you. Now where have we seen that sort of reaction before... hmmm....
The irony of this statement! XD Unfortunately your vision will probably be skewed by all the thousands of fantasy bots you're seeing everywhere! Lol!
I'm not responding over-defensively and argumentatively, you are. I'm just here laughing everytime you post something new.
Can I call you Don Quixote?
There you go again. Lol Considering Don Quixote was considered an "Ingenious Gentleman", I'll take it. Thanks for the compliment. Your ludicrous attempts at baiting are rather wasted I'm afraid. Besides, I thought I was supposed to be arguing alone? You have no place in this conversation, young one... XD

Bots are against TOS.
Blizzard should enforce their own TOS.
The end.
