The idea is basically to insert a format into hearthstone where literally every card is un-nerfed. What’s more, is that it gives blizzard an out for cards like Barnes, Genn, and Baku. They can “Ban” those cards in standard and wild, but allow them in this “Untouched” place. Similar to vintage/legacy in mtg.

Added "idea" to thread title to avoid confusion
Seems like a format that would be played for 3 days and then never ever played again.
I'd rather have something to improve standard and/or wild, not something to split the playerbase further
This. Right now Wild is played only by a small minority of players, your format would likely get a fraction of them. Balancing problematic cards in Wild should be the priority in order to keep it long term sustainable. (Note the community's outrage about certain cards/interactions i.e. Barnes, Star Aligner).
I think the idea is fine, but I would rather see it as a tavern brawl first. Also, it does not feel very smooth to have multiple versions of the same cards in your collection.

This will just make them slowly phase out the standard set.
I mean how many people out there really want a mode where they can play decks with unnerfed cards? You’d have maybe dozens of people queuing into each other, all playing Patron/Pirate Warrior.
Yes because we all want to be dying to charging, juggled molten giants again and hunters that punish the shit out of you for even playing any minions with board clear while drawing half their deck for 5 mana .... fun times. Nerfs are a vital part of the game, we don't get enough of them.

But what about cards that can’t be nerfed without changing their heart, like Genn, Baku, and Barnes? What about those players who loved Force of Nature druid and Patron warrior, but aren’t able to play them? It wouldn’t be a very balanced format, but that’s not it’s intention. It’s a place to have fun with old cards and a new version of Hall of Fame for wild.
Why would anyone want to pay that format? The ones that do would be so few.. that's not a format. It's just a poorly thought out idea. Go play a different game.
Actually yeah now that I gave it some second thought you might be right. Tunnel Trog into Totem golem is just as broken of an early start, as is patches.
Would be an interesting concept to put the strongest decks of all time against each other and see who comes out on top.
I know some youtuber does that for YuGiOh. Shame it most likely won't ever be possible for Hearthstone.

Oh boy. If you think pre nerf patron Warrior can compete with anything nowadays...

I prefer tournament mode first. ;)

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
It does so indirectly by giving blizzard the ability to ban genn and Baku.

I actually made some theorycrafts for that imagined format here:

Love it, up vote
Wouldn't that just be Undertaker hunter vs the world though?

Not even close, the powercreep has come a LOOONG way since then, check the theorycrafts in the thread I linked above.
Patches the Pirate along with a disgusting pirate package and Corridor Creeper will probably be everywhere, though...

Easier to introduce a similar format of your: flip the coin
Everybody had 50% winrate and no skill needed. To make it more interested you can make Genn and Baku on the side of the coin.
I am joking but this is what Hearthstone is slowly becoming.
