Greetings Hearthpwn community) After the recent Whizbang addition in the Boomsday where he created a lot of discussion and attention, I was wondering what could fundamentally shake Hearthstone and the way we play it. With my current MTG obsession and my love to Hearthstone, it gave me an Idea of a new interesting card. The Reno Jackson level of excitement and suprise. A card so crazy and unexpecting because it offers the whole new perspective of deckbuilding. What do you think? Is it possible that developers have something similar for us cooking in the future?
^The wording may be weird but the idea is that you can play a 30 card deck with cards that are restriced to other classes. So your deck can have neutral,1st class and 2nd ones.. So at the end you get Priest-Warlock type of deck. Or Rogue-Mage one and so on. The deckbuilding possibilities are endless. Its similar to Magic Blue/Black decks or Red/White decks.
EDIT: Take note that this is just an IDEA. Stats and mana cost may be poorly balanced but the main focus is the card effect and idea behind it that opens whole new look at your decks and card collection.
It's a cool concept but probably too powerful. You can basically choose your hero power with any class plus utilize both classes to your advantage. At the disadvantage of including an 8 mana 8/8.
This is a cool idea that I can't believe would ever happen, especially with no drawback or limitation to what kinds of cards you can use. There are some multiclass combos that are really, REALLY broken - if they regret genn and baku and people are complaining about power creep now...
I'd also say there are some logistical issues - which hero do you use? Do wins count towards both golden heroes? If you have a primary and secondary class so that those aren't issues, what makes one primary?
With some kind of super gigantic drawback ("you can't use neutral cards"? Even that doesn't seem big enough) I could possibly see it.
Cool idea, except it would be used in pretty much every deck, even to just get a single card from another class on a consistent level. Good idea, but it will never be printed.
Design: 3 stars - it's cool but not really workable in its current state, it would need one hell of a downside (massive stat reduction might not even be enough)
Balance: 1 star - if you think combo decks are bad now, this would make things infinitely worse. Unprintable in its current form, needs a massive rework.
This would make an interesting Tavern Brawl for sure, just to see the crazy combinations people can come up with, but I don't see it happening in Standard any time soon.
As exciting as it would be for deckbuilding, it would be the most broken card in the game.
Other than a huge problem about Class Identity.
It can be balanced to 10 mana 1/1 to be shitty minion because of its effect. I know how this sounds but the possiblities that this opens could make Hearthstone way more exciting to play. And lets be honest here: The developers are not giving much attention to a balance anyway. They sometimes continuosly ignore even the huge communitity outcries(via Patches or Genn and Baku Standard balance)
Also I wouldn't say that Class identity is in danger. A lot of classes have similar identities like Battlecries,Deathrattles,Tribes and so on. Damn even a Beast Druid might probably work if he could borrow some cards from Hunter.

Yeah, but current brokenness shouldn't give way to even more of that. Balancing the minion is not enough. A severe deckbuilding condition should be introduced, harsher tvan ever, and i'd have doubts even then.
While Beast Druid with Hunter cards sounds cool, i do not want to see a Demon Druid in this game.
You can see how they limited themselves with Tri-class cards, and with good reason imo.
10 Mana 1/1, if you have no other neutral cards, and no duplicates, you may use cards from an additional class, but have no hero power. this extremely nerfed version would still see play and be just as busted as Baku and Genn if not moreso
I honestly only see this to happen if you create a very strong drawback. I guess a lot of people had this idea already, so my balance solution is "start of the game: destroy your hero power"...

I actually really like this idea. Maybe nerf the card down to an 8 mana 7/7 and add this restriction. I really do like the possibilities this creates.

Lol... can you imagine. Every class would be able to use Shadow Visions
Yes. And Rogue could for example run heals or aoe effects. Druid would toy with Hunters Beasts and Dragon Warrior would be able to play Duskbreaker

pick warlock hero power, play any class broken af

The existence of Tess Greymane means they're never going to do this.
Temporus + Time Out!.
One of many problematic combos.
10 mana 1/1 AND a "this card is always your first draw" stipulation so that you're playing with a dead card and maybe

For a one time brawl, why not. But for constructed, being able to use cards from multiple classes is literally broken.
Also, I personnally hate the idea that this is the kind of card that would get people excited. Nope.
What if this card allowed you ONE card from another class into your deck. Still broken?
"Everyone! Get in here!"
1 card at the cost of running a war golem seems fair
