Funny, I feel the same way about Brawl. It always seems to leave my weakest minion alive or the only enemy minion on the board. Bloody RNG board clears making everyone feel bad!
It's also a human brain condition remember more the bad outcomes and forget the good ones. Like with the traffic lights, you always say: fuck red again, it's impossible it's always red." You never said: "yeah green, always green great"
Write down all the times and you see your "always" it s not that "always"
If you play a more aggressive deck, which I'm 100% convinced you do because this is a salt thread about a board clear, your minions on average will have high attack values and low HP values. As a result, they'll end up killing each other more often.
I was convinced that Hunter card that drew 3 beasts ALWAYS drew 3 beasts. FINALLY after about a dozen times seeing it, my opponent had to discover one card.
This is like complaining that Defile always clears despite you playing around it by not playing 1 HP minion, but those damn warlocks always seem to have a Kobold Librarian in hand. This thread is a combination of confirmation bias, and assuming opponent's actions are random. As others have said, if opponent plays Mass Hysteria, it's because they KNOW there is a good chance they'll clear your board. They're not just playing it to empty their hand.
I play priest myself and you'd be surprised how often opponents play right into Mass Hysteria. I just had an Evenlock play both giants on same turn against me earlier today, guess what happened to them?
I'm not a priest player but I also like the card. I think it is really effective and requires intelligent application as bickel discusses.
I also think Blizzard is going to nerf the card unfortunately. Based on how they have been nerfing cards lately, if a card ends up in the overwhelming majority of decks for a class, they'll alter it.
I hate mass hysteria with a passion. Have only ever seen one of my minions survive one time when my opponent have played it (even when the odds are in my favor). Both in constructed and arena. But have never wiped a board with it when I have played it my self. And yes, I know that this is nothing but horrible luck. But it does not make me like the card even a little. It is simply my nightmare card in the game. Am sure everyone have their own nightmare card;-)

That's Incredible!
Except it's not printed kappa
I know that the card isn't rigged and I play wall priest, I tell you. 95% of times I get best reasult possible.
Sometimes it even surprised me it found the way to clear all board when I didn't knew it's possible.
using Snapjaw Shellfighter can circumvent this , since she absorbs all damage in that instance for the 2 minions she protect.
I have quite literally never seen that card played.
Not even in Arena! Heh!
She has good interaction with giant wasp or any poison minions
Works the same as Brawl for warrior. The fewer minions you have, the better it works out for you.
Well, Kripp sure doesn´t think that...

Seriously no one tried snapjaw shellfighter? I mean it is not in any meta decks but........
I mean I know she is not in any meta decks but seriously no one tried her before? She is also good vs Volcano.
