when you use Auchenai Soulpriest with something like say, Reno Jackson, or Hozen Healer. then it will just kill whatever its targeting. I don't think it should work like this. it does this because it would heal to full, but it is instead damage, so it keeps on damaging it until it cant damage it any more.
I think it would make more sense if instead, Hozen Healer would look at the card, and say 'this is missing 2 health, so I will heal it 2'. then it would damage instead, so it would lose 2 life. not just die, what do you guys think?

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
But he could be right with Hozen Healer. Reno says "(..) heal (..)" while Hozen's text is "Restore (..)" and to me (someone with another native language) "Restore" could also be an effect like for example Amara - set to.
Reno was programmed to flat out restore your max hp value to your hero, regardless of your current HP. That's why he will always do a flat 30, unless you've been Alexstrasza'd or Amara, Warden of Hope'd.

Same goes for Hozen.
Alexstrasza doesn't change your max health. She only changes the remaining health to 15 and therefore, Reno Jackson will still heal for 30.

Auchenai clearly states that "cards and powers that restore Health" are now reversed, and do damage instead. Auchenai is behaving exactly as it should be behaving.

If you are at 15hp and Reno Jackson, you see a +15, but Reno still tried to heal you for 30, because that is your health maximum. The +15 is just the visualisation of the neat effect, not the recount of Reno's action.
And the whole mechanism is coherent with the case of Explosive Runes against a divine shield minion: the Rune sees the health of the minion, and attempts to deal damage to it equal to that (up to 6), dispite the divine shield absorbing it entirely, indpendently of the attempt.

Working as intended.
Reno heals you to full health. So with auchenai it tries to "heal" you to 30 (no matter how much life you had) and instead deals you 30.
As the card says.. heals are now damage so it won't heal you... it will damage you. Duh.
It seems someone lost because he played Reno Jackson with an Auchenai Soulpriest on board, hehe. :P

That's Incredible!

with amara its not what i would expect and alexstraza can set your max health to 15 if you are ragnaros
My mistake - thanks.

Hozen Healer works in the same way.

I don’t like how some cards say heal and other say restore. If they’re both the same thing, have identical text.
