All you people with sarccy comments are obviously cool with having half your money wasted every expansion on cards that aren't what you paid for anymore. God knows why.
Because people don't spend money on "cards", they spend it on "packs" which expand their collection. You pay for the right to play the game, not to guarantee that nothing in the game changes. It's all written in the game contractual clauses that you accepted when you created an account. Which obviously you must have read before doing so, right? I'm frankly more surprised you would pay money for anything without checking and accepting the fine print. God knows why...
Ah right, thanks for the reminder, it's been over 4 years since I saw that screen so long since forgotten that man.
Ok that does actually change matters then because they have no obligation to keep cards even classic ones in their current state meaning they can do what the fuck they like with the cards as long as packs don't change.
The fact that they covered themselves this way was really fucking smart actually
I mean I still don't like capitalism and the rest of my statement is still true but am glad I have been corrected where necessary so ta.
Naah, your post is just false and very salty. We just don't want to comment on your quatsch.
I also wonder what political system you prefer, lol.
I mean I still don't like capitalism and the rest of my statement is still true but
lol he says while enjoying a game that is the direct product on capitalism, likely on a smartphone which is alsonthe direct product of capitalism, a phone which most likely uses internet and electricity which, wait for it, yes, are both products of capitalist innovation. I love people who “hate capitalism.”

What does capitalism have to do with all this???
Stop involving political or social systems in a CCG or any other game. There is no political or social system that can globaly be effective because it need ALL people to accept it, which is impossible!
Blizzard, and every other developing company, is a corporation and their MAIN target is to earn money the best way possible.
They are not using any illegal method, and even i disagree in their approach, they do good to manipulate their way with their customers. If this approach is succesful is only proven by how WE the customers behave towards it. And obviously, during recent years, Blizzard customers are dissatisfied by Blizzard.
You have the power to make a corporation work for you, because it needs YOU!

Actually i think this is players' fault if Blizzard earns a lot of money from this game.
I'm an f2p player and i only spent 20€ the past year with the mammoth bundle because i was enjoying that meta and want to buy some cheap packs. I'm sitting on over 40.000 dust just because i only want do some ladder with my favourite decks and making some economy in this game is not very hard, just don't be reckless on crafting LOL 4Head
This is getting old. Let's get some things straight. Blizzard is a business enterprise. The main goal of any business is to make profit. Therefore, they try to make money. Duh.
BUT you can still play this game for free. No one is making you buy anything with actual money. I'm speaking from my own experience when I say that you can have most of the meta/fun decks when you spend like 50 € in total on this game. And even if you spend nothing, you can put together a few meta decks. Plus, we have been getting better rewards and more free stuff recently, so what's everyone's problem?
People being mad at Blizzard are probably the same people who want artists to draw them art for free or hairdressers to cut their hair for free. It's all business. If YOU want to spend your time, money and effort to create something and then give it away for free, go for it.
(P.S.: I'm not some mindless Blizzard fangirl, I play this game recreationally, but these threads are getting annoying.)
Ohh, you are aware of the fact that you get a full refund of the nerfed cards right ?
Also, within the first hour of a new expansion they have so much bigger sample size than what they can ever play teste themselves.
Also are you surprised that a company are trying to make a profit, what kind of jerks are this company. And its not always they have give you free packs extra gold/dust from quest like they have dont a week ago, and now with the brawl.
Two waves of nerfs have made a more diverse meta. With so many netdeckers crippled dust-wise, they are forced to either cough up more money or cut corners themselves. Genius strat.
The only scummy part is nerfing non-problematic cards to avoid refunding the expensive problematic ones, but eh... if you're displeased all you need to do is stop spending money in HS. It speaks a lot louder than a complaint thread.

Start of Year: Provoke the failure of 3 expansions, force nerfs on otherwise balanced cards, bring deckbuilding to an all-time low and get rotated one year earlier for being such a threat to the game's health. - Genn and Baku's historical entry on the White Book of Shit Design, shortly before retiring unpunished

Damn, I'm guilty of such stupidity. I complain a lot about this game (well, mostly about Bli$$ard, not Hearthstone, but still, hehe :P) and buyed the Rastakhan's Rumble pre-order. Ok, ok, I did it because I really like the new shaman skin and needed an incentive to play with that class, but I still feel bad about it. :(
Someone, please, kill me, I do not deserve to live!!! :P

If you think that only Hearthstone supports Blizzard, you are so wrong mate...
Oh jolly, another salt thread.

Don't worry, no one is going to label you as a mindless Blizzard fangirl. They are as rare as unicorns, just an internet myth. ;)
I think you are wearing your tin foil hat a bit tight.
