I've been playing odd warrior a lot recently and after teching my deck a little with Everspark, Marsh Drake (which has nice synergy with Supercollider btw) and a Gravelsnout Knight (synergy with Brawl), I haven't lost a single game against Gallery Priest. (Plus you can get a Cornered Sentry from Stonehill which is a dream). That decks weakness is that it's a highroll nonsense. Dilute their rez pool with shitty minions and you win, don't even need to do anything, just wait for their hope to crumble. If you run Zola, use it either on Everspark or the Gravelsnout Knight. Nothing better than seeing a gallery priest play spellstone and then hover the mouse over their pathetic cards with a board of 1/1s or 1/2s ^_^
Supercollider is another example of an extremely stupid card that should have never been printed. Kill 2 minions per swing....6 minions a game....ooooo balanced.
How to play around supercollider: 1) play weapon removal 2) place a low statted minion between two big ones 3) freeze the face.
How to play around turn 8 120 damage: ...
Surely, odd warrior is far less interactive
1)accurate but not necessarily always in hand
2)No. It's correct that supercoliider is less effective against spam decks, but if your deck is mostly medium sized minions it is truly obnoxious. Getting rid of two minions with one weapon swing is nonsense.
3)Limited cards do so and that is only a stall
If you're referring to mind blast or ANY malygos deck, I'm not a fan but that has nothing to do with the ridiculous of this weapon. Just the idea of a weapon as strictly a control tool rather than reach is weird to me. There was foolsbane and now a new overkill weapon but you actually have to strike every minion.
But I must not play the kind of decks that's a really bad matchup because the tools seem unfairly annoying, not impossible to win. Polarizing seems like a weird term to think of. Thinking of this game and other card games I played, a lot people just don't like "Fun Police" control decks that just remove everything. That Druid and Warrior have ways to get so much armor just makes it more obnoxious.

To be fair, if you play a low stat minion between threats, the warrior is more than likely going to remove it with something, then kill your big minions.

How to play around turn 8 120 damage: ...
Surely, odd warrior is far less interactive
Turn 8 120 dmg? how exactly lol (with a perfect hand and the coin to start, maximum can be 68, if you have drawn all the burn spells etc )And it's like every priest has cloning gallery till turn 8-9 (not) (which in its reveal, and in the comment section, was considered trash tier by the way)
Turn 8 warrior (30 health and 32 armor at least and 4 removals on hand- WOW so much interactiveness here).
Well if you have seen the reveal videos of Rastakhan even the Blizzard has recognized the Odd Warrior as extremely boring (Can you recall the video with ...Tank up, Tank up and Garrosh was like, PLAY SOMETHING and then War Master Voone appeared).
It's a matter of perspective, what you consider interactive and what not. I can play all kind of decks but I mostly play meme decks (Tess Rogue-I have 80%+ win rate against odd Warrior, 41% in general :P , Evolve Shaman), or homebrew decks. But If I had to choose between let's say Odd Warrior or Hakkar Druid, I would choose the second every time.
Lastly, I am not a fun of super aggro decks , and I tried to play odd warrior as a counter to them, for like, 10 games . Oh god this deck is so boring. Tank up , tank Up, remove, clear the board, OH I have Elise look, look i Zola'd her (the only fun card of this deck), go to fatigue, 15min games, unless opponent is aggro and doesn't want to share my misery so he/she concedes. Once I have seen a friend playing a mirror Odd warrior for 35 minutes, for f' sake, I almost fell asleep. So this was pretty much my experience with this deck.
use Odd control warrior with dragons package and tech in lerooy jenkins, marsh drake and thinkmaster. I've good success with it vs both gallery and wall priest (legend).

One of my friends loves the deck and asked for a mirror match. He doesn't have Zola, so I won the match purely because I could generate one more pack. It's so silly.
Priest is a problematic class, whenever it receives good cards, it turns into a cancer...
Any class can get "cancerous" when given good cards. When Druids got armor and draw they had like 10 different druid decks with same 25 cards among them. Hunters has better early game than aggro decks and better late game than control decks just because of Rexxar. There are more examples like rogue Quest, possessed lackey or tunnel trogg etc.
If anything Priest needs a lot of good cards to be decent whereas other classes can be problematic based on one or two good cards.
Well thank you to all the people that actually made suggestions instead of "whine whine salt salt odd warrior is the really broken deck" nonsense that has since plagued this thread. I'm going to just sit back and continue to watch you guys go at each other's throats.
Also, what I heard from the people complaining about aggro not beating odd warrior is basically, "taunt is cheating!"

Used to be my favorite class in the whispers day, but now I occasionally make weird deck for casual only and never ladder as priest. All the common starts are trash: Mind Blast and Inner Fire are both super lame ways to get a easy win.

If you play Odd Warrior properly and don't get super unlucky then the Odd Warrior is probably favoured to win or at least it is a 50-50. Generally the maximum damage in one turn Priest can do is 40, that's like 3 turns of tank up, which you can easily manage because Priest does nothing until turn 6. Once you got like 50 health, the game is pretty easy because Odd Warrior has way more value than Priest.

Many Clone Priests run a single copy Vivid Nightmare. This makes the burst 80.

Not in 1 turn. If you let a priest do 80 damage, you're doing something wrong.

Needs Yogg. If only Yogg didnt kill himself so often.

Nope. Play off agro secret mage. "gallery" ask clone priest can't beat it. Salt thread is salt.

Shhh I can assure you there are gallery priest players claiming that it is not and that it is skill based
Gallery priest is a good deck. A shitty deck. But a good one. It is not dominant. It is not a problem.
Cry more pls.
It's the greatest example indeed.
Of how you can play into randomness to get the outcomes you want.
- Zekrek timing.
- How many resurrects must you get off the Spellstone to get the outcome you want.
- What minions do you play to improve the resurrect pool.
- What minions do you NOT play to not yet mud the ressurect pool (so play Zilliax this turn or resurrect first).
