When we get complaints about a card, people just say “dont worry it will rotate out soon”. Is that really a solution??. People enjoy Wild because it has far more variety of decks than boring Standard yet its being treated like a garbage can.
Big priest is not played much as before because there is alot of kingsbane pirate rogues on ladder which counters it hard. People are techning in Golakka Crawler's and Gluttonous Ooze to counter it.
People don't hate wild. People just don't care about wild.
If Blizzard doesn't care about wild, why should the players? The only way for pro players to make a living off hearthstone is by playing standard. That format is actively supported by Blizzard in the form of tournaments (I'm not counting one lousy tournament per year for wild, that's negligible).
So if all the good players focus on standard, and tournaments do too, then all the viewers naturally will, too. Which is why no one really cares about wild.

Oh, and big priest.
This is totally on point, and that about sums it up better than I have heard anyone else say it. Being a noob, I got lulled into thinking that Wild was a subpar way to play and dusted a lot of cards (put me in the long list of players that regretted that). If you’re not trying to stream or be a pro player, there is really no reason to get caught up in the Standard hype. Wild is challenging and fun.
I hate wild becouse its the most expensive game ever! Imo it should be totaly free or at least 1/4 of the price. Keep in mind i ve been here since beta.

Is there a reason why people hate Wild??.
1. "boring Standard" - It's people like you that make standard player despise wild players (yes, this works the other way around) and therefore the mode itsself.
2. It's not about hate but rather a concious decision what mode you prefer - Standard has a smaller card pool, the meta changes more often (at least it should do that), wild has a larger card pool with a rather stale meta.
I mostly play wild to try and get to legend (obviously) but also find new synergies with cards. Take Shudderwock. Due to recent nerfs, it hasn't been used as much for combo decks. But in wild, you could make a cthun shudderwock, a yogg shudderwock or remake the old shudderwock otk viable again.
these things you can't do in standard.
it is not just people don't care about wild, it's just people don't see the potential of fun wild decks
When they say 'don't worry it will rotate soon' they mean you won't face it anymore in standard, assuming that guy plays standard because that specific card isn't OP in wild.
I think everyone who hate wild can't afford it because it's to expensive. I just play both formats coz I can. I have almost all meta deck for both formats. I'm just not poor guy. I still don't get it why ppl don't want to pay for card game like hearthstone. Becouse you are able to play for free? If u play for free then just don't talk about something u can't try or afford. Isn't card games was about paying for cards and collecting them?
I prefer Wild over Standard because of its devirsty and while theirs only 4 tier1 decks in standard you will find around 8 in Wild Atm i think the last nerfs were good for the format you can now see warriors and mages above rank 5 now .
I don't care as much about wild because I'm a newer player, and simply don't have many wild cards. If all the cards I have are from the standard pool, playing in wild puts me at a severe disadvantage. That said, if I can manage to fill out my collection in standard, I may well look to add more wild cards so that I could play in that mode as well.
As a new wild player who qualified for the wild open I have a few ideas on why.
1. It’s not really more varied at all actually. You face the murloc paladins, the rogues, The even shamans, and the warlocks. That’s really it. It’s like a four way Rock Paper Scissors.
2. Highroll oriented decks. Look at the new thekal mountain giant variant of murloc paladin. As many wild pros have stated, it’s pretty terrible, but it’s insane when you’re lucky enough to pull it off. It’s frustrating for the paladin to draw mountain giants but no thekal, and it’s frustrating for the opponent when the paladin gets both. There are tons of situations like this where the opponent draws one or two cards and they win. For example, skull against kingsbane rogue is just the end of the game usually, when it should be a good matchup. There’s also barnes which can win games instantly.
3. RNG in general. There are some really badly designed cards in wild that were rotated for a reason. Crackle and barnes are two huge impacts on the wild metagame, and they are completely decided by luck. This again causes more frustrating experiences.
Shitty broken deck can only get stronger with more cards. Big Priest is a good example. Scumbag 101. There plenty other deck that would just be broken with new new cards. I fought a mech hunter in wild...LITERALLY RETARDED. I think he won on turn 4 and was able to entire his entire hand because of the stupid magnetic feature being tossed on the 2 drop that makes mech cheaper and galvanizers. For some reason there is class card that gives +2 to mechs. To me, giving +2 to all your mechs and dropping a 3/3 on the board for 3 mana is absolutely stupid(like 60-80% of this game is) but possibly at the time it was made it was less ridiculous because there weren't many mechs.
Think of how Guldan has made Renolock so much stronger. There are like 4 win conditions in any decent renolock....AND thats if you dont just get straight up outvalued by turn 5 or 6 voidlord or malganis.
I play wild but i often cant play too games in a row due to the lameness of decks(netdecks and occasionally netdecks with one or 2 new cards added in)
At first I thought I wouldn't want to lose the cards I already collected to play standard mode, but no.
Blizzard releases intentionally OP cards to promote some archetypes. You get sick of seeing the same strong cards over and over, with the devs' solution being to rotate them out eventually. So every time there's a rotation I only regret to lose a couple of great cards, but am relieved to finally get rid of a bunch of annoying crap they didn't care to balance.

Big Priest.
-Standard hype.
-Packs can't be bought with gold.
-Metagame changes less, people get tired of the same cards.
-Some times broken mechanics and decks.

Oh, and big priest.
People stack up excessive hate towards cards and decks. More than most cards and decks actually deserve.
While the only Wild-specific garbage so far is Big Priest.

I can only speak for myself but I dislike wild because Team 5 refuses to give it the support it needs to be a competitive format.e: not to say it's a horrid idea, I think it could be a competitive format with the proper care.e(the second): refer to my 2nd post in this thread. I have changed my mind re:wild.
