Paladin was at least as good as hunger before the second RR nerf, and post nerf is the by far the best class. Why did Hunter get nerfed so much and paladin wasn't touched? Now, post nerf, 3 of the top 5 decks are paladin decks. Can anyone explain this to me, i don't get it.
Wait for the rotation. Paladin will get hit pretty hard so don´t worry.
It will change and even out through time, i get that. But i don't get the idea of this nerf, which should push back hunter and but let paladin get even better, although it was the best class pre nerf.
Independently of the current role of Paladin in the meta, I think not adding Blessing of Might to the nerf train along with Cold Blood was simply unfair, and possibly proof of the fact that nerfs are all about shaping a meta in a planned direction, more than balance tweaks across the board...

Your opinion is that they should nerf cards based on similarities? You can't be serious, right?
To be honest, I do think they should not nerf a classic cards, but instead the expansion cards that made the classic cards a problem. All of those cards were there since the beginning, but they decide to nerf Mana Wyrm, Eq, Cold blood, wild growth and nourish just now, because they fucked up with the design of some specific legendaries? Give me a break. If the classics are the problem, if they limit your designing space - just HoF them and be done with it, like you did with a lot of cards (and I am not talking about the RNG-fire lord or his mistress). T5 should try to balance their NEW cards better and if they can not - just don't release that card. Or are you running out of ideas???
"Shaping the meta into a planned direction" just causes them to "tunnel vision" which leads to a broken meta and nerfs to classic cards yet again. A sad, sad circle :(

How is paladin the top class now? Odd paladin is OP as always but that's Baku's problem, Blizzard should target Baku instead of nerfing all the other cards that are solid in that archetype cause as time has proven most Baku decks can adapt to the point of running multiple basic cards cause the power of Odd decks relies on their hero power, not the cards they play so it's not a Paladin issue, is a "Baku is hella unbalanced and shoul've never been printed" issue.
With the equality nerf you can no longer play slow OTK Paladin decks cause you just get obliterated by aggro (Which btw is also Baku's fault, we all know the only reason equality is not 3 mana is cause it would break the game on odd pally), it will maybe still be a deck on tournament line-ups as it stills farms control but it just isn't ladder viable anymore. After the nerfs a "new" deck came up on secret paladin but the deck is only ok, the best it has going for it is that it's usally good against most hunters and stuff like clone priest, other than that Warlock is a shitty match-up, control priest is bad, odd and even paladin are bad (Odd is awful and even slightly unfavored), that new wall priest that's everywhere now also farms this deck and all the other meta decks are mostly 50/50 match-ups.
Also why are you crying about hunter? lol the only relevant thing that was nerfed for hunter was the spellstone which has always been unbalanced as life. You're talking like midrange hunter isn't still an insane deck that can murder you on like turn 5 and like Deathrattle hunter isn't still a pretty powerful deck that's top tier 2 at worse, stop crying, your favorite F2P class is still OP and arguably the best (At least the 2nd one at worse).

Blessing of Might and Cold Blood play the very same role in Odd Rogue and Odd Paladin (and let's face it, if it was not for Odd Rogue, nobody would have cared of Cold Blood, despite it being extremely powerful also in Miracle).
I agree new cards should be nerfed instead of Classic ones (at least in most cases), but that's another story. I said that Cold Blood and Blessing of Might belonged to the same nerf set, if that was based on balance. Balance in context as well (see above).

Comparing a buff card in a class that IS THE BUFF CLASS to a buff card in some other class is silly.
And this "Balance Patch" wasn't just about Balance. It was about eradicating certain close to auto include cards from the Classic Set. Compare the amount of play Cold Blood has seen historically with Blessing of Might. There have been and still are Aggro Paladin decks that don't even run Blessing.

Ok i forgot that one but still paladin was dominant and is even more so after the nerf. If hunter desrved a nerf, now paladin deserves one even more.
Wait for the rotation. Paladin will get hit pretty hard so don´t worry.

Oh God lets poor Pally alone please, nerfing level up,equality is not enough for you
Blessing of Might and Cold Blood are perfectly comparable by virtue of the existence of: Fire Fly, Argent Squire, Baku the Mooneater in the same decks (ie. solid, steady, board-based decks). On top of that, add Righteous Protector on the paladin side. Oh, and Leeroy Jenkins.
