I play wild all day and face few of them and won all with my CW deck. With their MC and 2 best secret Revenge and Competitive spirit. How this deck do well in standard is beyond me
"I beat deck x with my deck y so how can deck x possibly be the best deck in the meta right now???"
Pffft , " finished..." last season when I played at around 200 Legend eu, i rarely faced secret Hunters.
If so , they all played the aggro variant with Hyena, Timberwolf etc. Just because of the Huntersmark nerf this deck should still be top Legend viable .
Weird, Baku is still utterly broken. it's almost like the nerfs targeted the wrong cards...
Blizzard has already gone on record in saying that Baku/Genn are problems and need to be fixed and they KNOW they will remain problems despite the nerfs. They are looking into what they can do to fix them. The most recent Omnistone has both a clip of Blizzard talking about it and a discussion on why it's not going to be a simple thing to fix them.
I've been playing Secret Paladin on and off for the past month and have been having reasonable success. About a 52% winrate at rank 5-4 With the nerfs and accompanying meta shift it could be even better. It has been kind of a sleeper deck for a while now.
I'm interested in testing it out, is Call to Arms mandatory in that deck? I dusted all my copies after the nerfs.
I don't know that it's mandatory, but you need to maintain board control with this deck since it doesn't run any AOE. Call to arms is really the only chance you have at establishing board control if you are behind.
Yeh - it's way too early to say much. Heck, even the first VS report tomorrow will probably be somewhat tentative, unless there are very obvious trends
Blizzard should make a special stream lessons or youtube videos in which they explain the the only way hs should be played is with supa dupa 1000 IQ control/combo homebrewed decks and 30 minutes long match is a minimum time period that proves you're not braindead blah blah something etc.
Why let a website decide what decks are good? Hsreplay is heavily flawed as it shows stats for every rank. Aggro decks get higher winrates since they are easier to play, and combo decks are “low tier” even when they’re the best deck in the game.
That’s not the whole truth - you can’t just refer to one site and not even several sites. The only thing that means is that more people will netdeck the top 3 decks that are presented that specific day, nothing else.
For example, played deatheattle hunter from r5-r3 with one loss today.

-let´s negotiate: you concede and I let you live...
HSreplay stats are not really accurate when you don't sort them based on ranks, so I won't trust these winrates. But I agree that it doesn't seem like Equality nerf has dented the Paladins even slightest.

Try looking outside the bubble you seem to be in.

Rage quitting: the best way to ensure your opponent knows they beat a giant baby.

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Meanwhile on high Legend: C4mlann is rank 31 with Odd Hunter and most of his enemies are Midrange or Egg Hunter.
Yeah Hunter is totally finished... at least in the eyes of some shitty "meta report" pulled out off the ass from some nobody. :D

Agreed 100%
