I have invested a lot of time and dust into this class. I crafted just about every single control deck this class has. then we got aviana, wild growth, and nourish nerfed. and it looks like the class is dead. I know they will get plenty of other cards each expansion, but it looks like blizzard has decided not to support the control/combo/armor/ramp side of druid.
I dont think we will ever get another 70 life combo druid again. control druid is dead, and I dont think they will ever bring it back to life.

Rejoice, for even in death, you have become children of Thanos.
I think they want to give it combos that are less perfect and require more setup. For example, Gonk druid might get more support. Also, mechathun druid might become strong at some point.
Druid's ramp cards are still playable and they got a new ramp card in biology project. I think ramp cards are going to be weaker in the future but not actually gone. As long as there is ramp, control and combo druids will survive.
Druid hasn't been completely irrelevant for a very long time., from my understanding. I started right before Old Gods came out and I've never gone a season where druids aren't relevant if not broken strong, especially since Mean Streets of Gadgetzan blessed us with the cancer that was the jade mechanic. Since then, druid has had access to multiple OTK / combo decks, as well as token and infinite. They have been a major contributor to the struggle control has had to be relevant in the meta (along with any deck that plays OTK/combo with support to lock out aggro, such as Mecha'thun decks).
Druid had its time to shine and did so to the point of being moved to its own tier for a while (Tier S: utterly and crushingly powerful, no counter other than rng and player error). Hopefully, April rotation brings in some healthier cards and mechanics as a ton of toxic and/or powerful ones leave every class (e.g. - all the relevant death knight hero cards, Ultimate Infestation and Spreading Plague, Lesser Emerald Spellstone, Carnivorous Cube, Prince Keleseth, and more). I like playing druid, but it needed to be nerfed into the ground for a while.
Onward to April

I have all golden heroes except for druid. No matter how i tried i always figured that all working decks for druids are incerdibly boring. Especially lately...this stupid gathering of armor and drawing cards...blah...its sad how blizzard "prints" a ton of themes and legendaries for druids and they see 0 gameplay:(

As long as they continue to offer druid options that are as consistent as they are non-interactive, druid will continue to be boring and broken. They gave a the class with ramp Ultimate Infestation, for crying out loud! They gave druid the ability to be better than every other class at what they do until the nerfs: they armored more than warrior (healed more than priest, essentially), dealt more damage than pally/hunter/warlock/rogue/mage, and with their OTK made even pre-nerf Shudderwock decks pointless.
Draw your deck, armor into the sun, and pull your combo. Utterly thrilling gameplay -____-
Glad druid is dead for now. Maybe Blizzard takes this as a chance to offer more interesting archetypes to druid.

jade druid is still strong in wild format.. and as for standard, spiteful druid is still about 54% WR. What more do you want? As many other people said, Druid has been too strong for too long. They needed to get taken down a peg or two.
It might take a little while, but sooner or later Druid will be good again, at least in Wild. In the bizarre case Druid gets some new tools to stop aggro early, or the meta shifts a bit, they will have plenty of good cards and strategies to return to.
In Standard, I wouldn't expect anything anytime soon. Yes, there is some OTK stuff you can do right now, but it really is the last bit you can squeeze out of the good cards from last year. After the rotation, there is very little remaining in the class. Nearly no armor gain, no draw, no ramp and no stabilizing effects like Spreading Plague or DK. There are some good lategame combo cards but no tools to survive that long.
I think Druid might have a future with Savage Roar, since a lot of board clearing effects will leave the game, but it's a basic card, so it's probably on the list for another "balance patch" in the near future. Warrior had to wait about a year to recover just from Fiery War Axe. Druid is looking worse right now, and I doubt the devs really give a damn. As this thread shows, people would rather have a class they don't like completely off the map, or employ arguments like "it was good for so long, it should be bad now", instead of having all classes on a decent level. You know, blame the class and its players, not the people in charge of the game balance.
Druid is still good, not sure what you’re saying. I took maly druid to top 50 NA last season and it’s only improved after these nerfs since priest is more relevant. Hakkar is also a very strong deck.

You mean, the last 3+ years of Druid dominance weren't enough for you? Some guys, man...
Druid at the moment is cinda ,,dead" , but dont worry , There will be another combo-wombo in next expansion
Or............... Blizzard will forget about the class untill they see that nobody plays it (like now)
Dont worry! DruidStone will be back some day!

Druid was bullshit Tier good for years. I'm glad the Class has been Nerf hammered into Oblivion.
But it'll be back, have no fear and keep everything...
4/3/19 RIP Keith Flint. 😔
You do realize that Hakkar Druid is possibly one of the best decks in the game?
What about Mechathun Druid?

Join me at Out of Cards!
Druid has been broken since Beta. One or two x-pacs of Druid not being a thing is fine.
I want my aviana back to 9
The druid mechathun deck is FAST for a combo deck. And as someone said, Hakkar druid works.
Imo druid was often in a good spot.
Savage Roar Druid
Jade Druid
Aviana - Cobo Druid
Taunt-Hadronox Druid
Now with OTK...

Druid has had its period of being S tier and it lasted over a year, before that savage roar was t1 too.
Sorry your class isn't the fotm currently but swings and roundabouts.

Everyone else who plays wild doesn't.
Actually Hakkar druid and mecha'thun druid are not tier 5 decks. Only skulking geist can ruin this deck.

druid is still good, it can actually run the otk hakar and still beat aggro. its crazy
